My car is a very used Dodge Caravan that we purchased off of Craigslist. We needed a car ASAP to get my daughter to school, so we looked around and tried to find something big enough to fit both children's car seats and my extended family. The car had a lot of issues, but because I was in such a hurry and came such a long way with someone driving me, I had to take it. I don't regret the decision; it's just we had so many issues with the car since. We had to replace the battery, the tires were crap (even though she told me they were not), and the drivers window did not roll down. I did like how the inside of the car looked, and the body was not so bad. The car drove just fine, and it has anti-lock brakes and power steering. It has this weird hum to it and a slight tick, which I did noti... (more)
Story
Taking my daughter to her first day of school. She was only three, so it was bittersweet, but she was so excited to go! I opened her door, and she climbed right on in to her car seat!
Pros
Positive things about the car include lots of room, doors on both sides (We had a van that only had one door, and it was a pain!), remote controlled doors, and pretty decent gas mileage. Also, the console told you how many miles you had to go before you were empty.
Cons
There was no bench seat. There were just four bucket seats, so it couldn't seat that one extra person, and we need that extra seat.

I am extremely unhappy with the vehicle. Unfortunately, I feel like it's the dealerships fault for convincing us that the van was in good shape, and then every time we go in for an oil change they tell us there's something new that's wrong. They are very good at milking money out of us because of little problems like electrical faults and things like the door locks and sliding doors not working properly. They've replaced the keys for us and made us pay for them and told us it fixed the problem. And it actually made the problem worse.
Story
We were actually hit, while going through an intersection, by a kid on a bike. He didn't pay attention to the fact that he had a red light and he flew through the light and smashed into the side of our van.
Pros
I do love the stow and go storage because it makes traveling so much easier. And the sliding doors are great for when my hands are full or when my kids are trying to get in and out.
Cons
The mirrors fall off. The electrical issues are constantly causing problems. The door locks and windows are touchy and one door lock doesn't work at all. The sliding doors will open on their own, when we're out and about, and even after I've locked the doors. We'll come out from Walmart and find the sliding doors and back hatch all open. When the weather changes slightly the tire pressure light comes on, so I'm constantly adding air to the tires. The check engine light is always going on and they tell us it's just a touchy sensor in a side mirror and there's nothing they can do except... (more)

I had been to other dealerships, and they were the most helpful. The sales guy came out the lot as soon as he saw me, and it was even raining outside. He was friendly and introduced himself. And then he walked away for a few minutes, so I could look at the car by myself for a while. I appreciated that a lot, because then I didn't feel pressured by him. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car.

From the friendly staff to the no-pressure sales tactics, it was a joy to purchase a car from Diepholz. I also appreciate the little touches, like a well stocked waiting room and offices with clean desks. Some people think that buying a car is a huge hassle, but it doesn't feel that way here. The staff treats you like family.
