This Acura is the 2nd Acura MDX that I have owned. One of the biggest reasons why I purchase the MDX is for the 3rd-row option. I have two children and one step-child, and sometimes we need that 3rd row for friends and to also split up the kids so they don't drive each other (and myself) crazy. Knowing that Honda makes Acura is another reason why I drive this car. I know it is going to have minimal issues and will be extremely reliable. I will be able to drive this car for 300K miles and have minimal repairs and maintenance performed on it. I like the luxury of the Acura -- I love the navigation, the satellite radio, that I can plug in my phone and listen to music or just connect the Bluetooth. I love the heated seats, and I love the interior look. Probably one of my favorite options in the car is the ability to lock the rear climate system. My children love to play with the heat/air and change it up and down, etc. It drives me nuts! So, being able to lock it prevents them from doing just this.

Interior is nice, engine is garbage.

So the cars are really nice to drive, until you start to care about more than the appearance. The engine is really weak and I find myself really liking behind other cars that are going much faster than me. The interior however is really cozy and not cozy hasn't small I mean cozy as in just nice, the whole stereo setup is cool the whole seating is cool. I find in a lot of cars I don't fit very well into the seats because they're awfully small, but in this car I fit well into the seats which is surprising because it's a Mazda. But I fit very well into the seats and I don't have any leg cramping as I usually do in cars because of my size.
