My Acura
We bought this vehicle based on a real need to acquire another SUV. My wife's Acura was totaled in a rear ended accident, and I was driving a old, beat up Bronco (1989), and we needed a SUV for the trips to the mountains. The need was to travel to snow country a couple times a month, and we needed a SUV that would take care of our trip. The vehicle was nicely equipped, and if I were to be honest, the price of the SUV convinced us more than the actual SUV. Basically, we had a need, and the price was right. Overall, we were satisfied with our purchase, as it meet our immediate and long-term need for a additional vehicle. Acura made sure it was cleaned up and in good running condition and has synced maintained it for us (of course at a price). Our main complaint is the size. It is a little too small for our needs (and it's just my wife and I). We discussed many time how we should have bought the larger and newer model, and if we had to do it again, it would have been the larger one. Since the purchase, we have put approximately 60,000 miles on it, and it now has just over 100,000 miles on it and still runs well. Lately, the display on the dash has begun to flicker and looks like it will go out soon. Acura says it will be a $3,000 job to repair it (replace it), so we do not know. It seems to wear down the oil quite rapidly, and every three–four months it needs a oil change. Acura says it because of the turbo feature.

The car runs well and is durable. I've crashed it multiple times and nothing has broken. Also, I've left the vehicle unscratched. I go a long time without an oil change and everything seems fine. Also, the warranty that came with the car is great, I couldn't ask for more. I really enjoy the steering as well, it's something you don't normally notice about a car but in this one you do. When you turn a corner, it's very responsive

Great value car
This car is high end in every way--without the cost. The interiors look like a BMW or an Audi and has great features like Bluetooth. But the car is about 60% of the price of how much those cars cost. The car is also a great city car, roomy and the seats fold down for moving large furniture, and you can fit plenty of people—it's an SUV after all. But compared to most SUVs, it is slightly smaller, meaning it handles great on smaller streets and can fit into tighter parking spots. I also love that it has plenty of features for hiding your belongings while you are away from the car: the glove compartment and center console or both large enough to hold a purse, even a laptop, and I often use the false floor on the trunk to hide things by the spare tire, as well the hanging vision protector. The main downside is the mileage I get out of the gas. I spend a fair amount of money on gas—commuting 30 minutes a day. I have to fill up about every 10 days.
