Being recently in the market for a new car, I was mainly interested in the Mazda 6 and the Toyota Avalon. My son recommended that I test drive an A4 at the Audi dealership, and I did so mainly as a courtesy to him. It sounds cliché to say this, but the single test drive was all it took to sell me on this vehicle. The car is an absolute joy to drive. It is quite fast (something I had to get used to, coming from a Toyota SUV), and the brakes are extremely responsive. The handling of the car is like nothing I've experienced before. I know of no way of explaining it other than to say that the car simply responds to my inputs more precisely than any car I've owned. The styling of the car (I got the newly released 2017 model) is beautiful, but not overly loud. It looks very understated yet distinctly classy. The leather interior is luxurious and very comfortable. I am not a fan of aggressive bucket seating, but the seats on the Audi A4 are very, very adjustable and ended up being a perfect fit for me, at 5 feet tall. Finally, the convenience and technology features are great! The Bluetooth interaction with my phone is seamless and highly useful. Backing up is no longer scary as the rear camera includes a display overlay that shows you the direction the car will be moving. Everything can be customized, down to the resistance of the steering wheel. It's the best car I've ever owned.

This is one of the best cars I have ever driven. The handling of this car is exceptional and you never find yourself wishing you had more power under the hood. Driving in heavy morning traffic is a pleasant experience with this car because it has a very quick responsive pickup when you hit the accelerator and it can stop on a dime when the unexpected happens out on the road. The reliable performance of this car makes it a joy to drive. The interior is also well designed and intuitively functional when driving. Personally, I love the high quality modern style and the feel of the leather seats and the entire cockpit of the car. The sound system is well designed for the interior space and the technology is very useful if you live in your car a lot of the time. About the only thing I didn't like too much in the beginning was where the outlets for plugging in my phone and other electronics were located, but eventually I got use to that small change. As for taking this car out on longer trips, this is the only car I'd feel comfortable taking on longer road trips after having experienced it. It's a quiet ride with complete control at the wheel. The gas mileage is pretty decent too for the car's performance. The additional bonus is that it has plenty of room in the trunk for weekend getaway trips.
