The BMW X6 50i is an incredible vehicle. When you first look at it, it makes you wonder if this is an SUV or a really tall 4 door coupe. Well, it's both! It is both practical, while being attractive. It provides some of the good qualities of an SUV without the boring, clunky look. I love the fact that it is very powerful with its V8 engine and has about 4000 hp. I would estimate the 0-60 mph time to be slightly under 5 seconds, which is amazing considering how much this vehicle weighs. I love how comfortable it is for the whole family on long road trips. The front seats in particular are super comfortable for long trips, which we try to do once or twice per year. The leather is quite durable and all the fit and finish in the interior is as good as you'd expect from a luxury automaker. One of the only complaints I have is how much fuel it consumes. In city driving, I barely get 15-16 mpg and about 22 mpg on the highway. It is an expensive car to own, given the maintenance is very costly, especially when something breaks, so be prepared to have some side money just in case. Overall, a great car to own that looks nothing like anything else on the road.

The BMW x6 is great on paper, but in reality it does not hold up to it's marketed standards. I enjoyed the strange stance of the car, with a very large exterior. Another thing that I enjoyed about this car was that it is very fast, it lived up to the BMW brand because of the sheer amount of power it held; especially for a larger car as this. So in terms of design and horse power, I think this car did live up to my expectations. however that was really it, their were more dislikes about this car than likes. For example, warning signs that constantly show up on new BMW models: I'm unable to fix this error for no reason: After every single visit to the shop, a new fix light will come up. Another problem with this 2014 model was that the interior was cheaply made. I was shocked to find that after less then 1000 miles, a piece of my dashboard cracked. Overall this vehicle did not live up to the marketed hype I was lured into. It was a functional vehicle, but once again it had not met my own subjective needs.
