2005 Chevrolet Cavalier - This car is reliable
My car is a Chevy cavalier, it is one of the best cars I've had. The cost of the car was $4,500 which is a pretty good deal since I've had it since 2009 and am currently still using it. It is a basic car with just a cd player and basic necessities. i don't really care about getting dings and scratches in the paint which is nice to not worry about. I have not broke down with it once, and do casual maintenance on it like getting the oil changed and cleaning the interior.

A Favor
My favorite thing about my car is how easy it is to drive and park. Since it is a smaller car I can parallel park much easier, and that's good when going into the city. I also like the lack of technology it has, this is because I can just get in and drive without being distracted with a bunch of gadgets in the car. I think that's kind of an added bonus of safety.
En Contra
My console lighter is broke, so i cannot charge my phone which is kind of bad for longer trips. Sometimes it is difficult to drive in the snow because the car is kind of lighter.
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier - It showed its age, but it got the job done.
The Chevrolet Cavalier was a good starter car for me. Since it averaged close to 30 miles per gallon on the highway, it was perfect for making long drives. Its small size was both positive and negative because while it was easier to park the car, it was harder to control it in windy conditions. The car was also reliable because it never broke down while I was driving it. I didn’t even have to replace the tires. However, it had its fair share of mechanical work, which I think was to be expected given its age. It drove pretty smoothly, but it made an audible revving sound when it was accelerating. Unlike most vehicles, it had a sunroof, which you could slide back, roll down the windows, and cruise! Overall, the car showed some wear and tear from its age, but it got me where I needed to go.

One time, when I was driving home from school on a four-lane street, I drove past a tennis court where players were practicing. Suddenly, a tennis ball came bouncing into the road right in front of me. It bounced off the hood of the car and continued on its merry way into the other lanes.
A Favor
One of my favorite things about the car was how simple the radio controls were. It didn’t have the complex touch radio that a lot of vehicles have today, so you could easily change channels without taking your eyes off the road. The car was also very practical for me. It wasn’t too fancy and since I mostly drove it in rural areas, I made full use of its gas mileage. The air conditioning/heating systems were also efficient; they only took a few minutes to kick into gear. I also liked how roomy the trunk was despite the car’s small size. The seats were comfortable to sit in and the sunroof w... (more)
En Contra
The biggest con was the rust on the frame. At first, it was merely a cosmetic issue, but through time and being exposed to the elements, it started to eat away at the frame. I finally heard that if this continued, there could be a chance of the entire frame collapsing while I was driving. The car’s small size was also a disadvantage. It had no passenger doors, and there wasn’t a whole lot of leg room in the back. Also, the car’s age meant that I had to spend more on repair work than I would for a newer vehicle. For example, replacing most of brake parts plus fixing a brake leak a few month... (more)
