I like the look of the vehicle and how smooth it drives on the road. Currently my only dislike is that the rearview mirror sits a little lower than I'm used to in a SUV. Also, the MyLink screen froze a couple of times which was an inconvenience.

I totaled my last car and really wanted an SUV to meet my needs. I need a spacious vehicle, but not TOO large. My equinox definitely meets my needs there. It is also all wheel drive which helps on my commute 45 minutes to work. I love the dark purple color and the shape of the vehicle as well. It surprisingly gets great gas mileage being an SUV. That being said, it does not drive as smooth as my past vehicles have. The handling is not as crisp and responsive as any of my past vehicles. It rides much "rougher". Not 2 months after I bought it, granted it is used, I had to spend $900 to fix it - the shocks, struts and a belt.
