I like the sleek look of the vehicle. The seating is relatively comfortable. I hate the entire engine compartment setup, the cheap trunk materials, and the fact that the entire underneath side is just plastic shields with plastic buttons.
Historia
This wasn't a fun experience at all but it was memorable. My husband, 81 year old mother and I were on our way to a wedding. The car overheated and we had to pull over at a place of business. Before I could object, my husband removed the radiator cap and spewed hot coolant all over his hand and part of his face. He got steam burn on hand. Fortunately we were a few miles from our daughter who h... (more)
A Favor
The repairs are relatively cheap for first 100K miles.
En Contra
There are several negative items that I can share. The first item is that I hope you never need to put a water pump in this vehicle. It is absolutely astounding that you have to take off radiator fans, power steering pumps, timing covers and replace the timing chain to change a water pump, with a minimum cost of $1000 to repair a water pump. It is cheaply held together with plastic and buttons.

I have always LOVED the look of this car, and the feeling of the wind in my hair. I love the color and the way it handles. It's now 15 years old, and still drives like a dream. I've had to put very little money into it over the years. It has been dependable, and I plan to keep driving it for as long as it stays that way. The only "downside" has been that the top seems to have "shrunk" at some point. There is a small leak over the driver door when there is a slow rain, and it can get loud when it's windy.
Historia
Not long after I bought it, I had it parked on the street. I came outside to see a couple looking at it and the woman was saying "oh look. There's my car." It was said in the way you would use when looking at something you'll never be able to afford. I couldn't believe someone was doing that with something I actually owned! My best friend and I have taken a lot of great road trips in this ca... (more)
A Favor
It has been mechanically sound, and is SO much fun to drive.
En Contra
The wind can be loud and it can get cold in the winter.

All of my life I'd really wanted a convertible and I was so excited to finally have one when I purchased my Sebring. It has sleek tan leather seats (no heating though), a good sound system, and seems to be a decently sturdy car for a girl like me. The brakes handle like a dream, a huge step up from my old Dodge Neon. The steering is smooth and painless. It's automatic so it's very easy to drive. In the summer, I really love pulling the top down and cruising to the beach with my sister and son in tow. We have many good memories in the car, even if I do have to vacuum it afterwards because of all the sand. I've driven thousands of miles, to all sorts of places in the car and have never had any major issues. I think it's good for a female or a younger driver, someone who isn't ready f... (more)
Historia
Going out with my sister is always a blast in my Sebring. We love getting ice cream and blasting the music loud in the summertime then heading to the beach. It's really fun and I think this car is made to have fun in!
A Favor
It is a convertible, biggest pro for me. It's really easy to drive and park. I've never had any major issues with the engine/transmission. The most I've had to deal with was basic oil changes, changing normal parts like the wipers, and restocking the fluids.
En Contra
The main problem that I have with it is that it's bad in the snow. I live up in the Northeast, so when there's tons of snow on the ground, it's easy for the car to start drifting. Usually I use my husband's car in the winter for this exact reason. Also, it isn't as efficient with gas as I'd like it to be.
