Overall the Pacifica is a good vehicle. We have owned it for almost 2 years and had no issues previously. Last month, our alternator went bad, causing some other damage and a $1000 repair bill. Our oil tends to run low (a recurring issue over the vehicle's lifetime), but regular oil changes resolve that problem easily. The vehicle functions adequately and provides enough space for 2 large dogs and a small child (one of the biggest selling points).

Well, I currently own a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. I have had the car since 2007 so I got it two years old. Its more of a van now a days here in 2015. Considering my car has 190,000 miles on it as of now I guess you can say it has drove the distance, even though I see way older cars on the street, such as hondas, toyotas, and fords. So that makes me a little weary about chryslers. I also am not in love with the fact they discontinued the model because they suck so that makes it way harder to find cheap/affordable car parts in the area without going online. So would I recommend a Chrysler Pacifica 2005 edition to a friend or family member my firm answer would be a no! Buy American made cars...
