2008 Chrysler Town and Country - Good mini van for a family
The van has almost 100,000 miles on it and has had a few issues. I bought the lifetime wrap around warranty and have had a few systems that needed to be fixed. If they were not covered under the warranty, they would have been very expensive to fix. Other than that, I have been generally happy with the van. The leather seats have held up to two kids, their gear and their friends. The carpet on the floor boards shows some wear and tear, but overall have held up well. The van holds up to 7 people and has been very comfortable up until recently. My kids are getting bigger and the leg room in the back row of seating does not allow enough space. Also, the sliding door on the passenger side of the vehicle has not worked properly since I purchased the vehicle. Sometimes it will not close and g... (more)

We got caught in the rain and were able to open the back door of the van and everyone piled in through the back. The door covered us so that we did not get too soaked. Everyone around us got soaked.

The top positive features of this vehicle are the convenience for transporting children. The automatic side doors and back door make it very easy to get children in and out easily and without banging the doors into cars next to us. I also like the entertainment system that includes two TVs in the back of the van that the children like to watch while I am driving. I also like the second row captains seats that are comfortable for both the children and adults that sit there.

2013 Chrysler Town and Country - Good for the Family
It's a dependable car. We've owned our vehicle for two years now and we have had no major problems with it. It is comfortable with its leather seats, and they are surprisingly not too hot when we get in on a summer day. The entertainment package is wonderful for long trips with the kids. We can pop in a DVD and they can watch a movie with the included headphones while we continue to listen to the radio. There's plenty of space with the third row. We can have the seats up for guests or stow them and have room for baggage. With second and third rows stowed away, there is a TON of space for hauling things. My only real complaint is that the gas mileage is not that great, but it's not terrible for a van.

We went to Disney world and we neglected to write down which parking lot we parked in, so when it was time to leave, we had no idea where to go. We were wandering around several huge parking lots pushing the panic button trying to find the van. We finally figured out the general area we were in and eventually found it. Definitely the DVD player. It's a lifesaver on long trips. The automatic side and rear doors are also a lifesaver when your arms are full of groceries or babies. The hands free controls on the steering wheel are also very nice.

Gas mileage is definitely the top negative, and really the only true negative I can think of. It's a mom van, so your cool points drop a little when you're driving it. But it's worth it for the comfort and convenience.

2010 Chrysler Town and Country - Excellent multi-use vehicle
Our Town & Country is a vehicle we were leery of at first. We purchased it more out of necessity than desire (we have three children). However, we have grown to love this minivan more and more each time we drive it! We love the room it give to us and our kids. With three boys ages sixteen, eight, and two, and there is plenty of room for them to stretch out while on the road without touching each other and more than enough room for the car seat. Additionally, we can take family trips and have all the space we need for luggage. Gas mileage is surprising to us, as we were expecting to get around 15 miles per gallon. However, we average 19 mpg city and 24mpg highway. The remote that allows us to open the sliding doors and trunk with the touch of a button has been a huge blessing. The stow-... (more)

The stow-and-go seating has been phenomenal as well. We were able to lay the back seats down when we moved into our new house and use the minivan as a moving van! It made things so much easier! Honestly, there isn't much to complain about with this vehicle. I'm sure the gas mileage could be better, but we were expecting worse, so we aren't displeased. This van has been a great value for our family. Performance is excellent and has yet to disappoint. The quality of the vehicle is amazing as well. So far, it has held up well to the many tests our family has put it through.
One morning shortly after purchasing our van, my kids and I were headed out of the day, and it was pouring rain. I was able to open the doors for the kids to get in before they even got to the van, thanks to the remote button. I was able to open the doors for the kids to get in before they even got to the van, thanks to the remote button. Additionally, thanks to the room this minivan provides (although, I'm sure it's not an intended purpose for it), I was able to sit my toddler in his car seat, climb into the back with him, close the door, buckle him into his car seat, and then climb into the driver's seat from the back. I didn't have to get soaked from the rain while I stood there outside the car buckling him in because I had plenty of room in the van to do it all from the inside and stay dry!
My favorite things about this van include the remote door opening, stow-n-go seating, and the room and comfort for everyone. With the simple touch of a button on the remote, I can open the doors for my kids, when it is raining, or for myself when I am packing my toddler to the car, along with all of his stuff. The stow-n-go seating allows for maximum room in the car when traveling and we were even able to take full advantage of it by putting all of the seats down and using it as a moving van when we moved into our new home. It took us a little while to figure out how to use the stow-n-go seating for the second row of seats. It does have a little trick to it. The change oil, gas cap, and check engine notifications seem to be on almost constantly. We have yet to have any performance problems related to the lights, but they still go off.
