I bought my 1998 Dodge Durango from a pre-owned dealership in my old hometown. I was drawn to the size of the cabin as well as the cargo area. The 1998 Durango has an aggressive stance that wasn't available with any other SUV previously. I found the leg room to be more than comfortable and I'm 6' 6". Speaking of seating, the four way power seats were comfortable on long road trips, providing excellent lumbar support for hours. The Durango states it can seat seven comfortably, and it certainly can. I've taken many roads trips with my family, and it was always fun in our SUV. Plenty of room for storing luggage without the need of folding down any of the rear seats. The handling of the Durango could feel a little tight when driving in the city, almost making it feel as though extra effort was needed to turn. Despite having power steering, I felt it difficult to steer on tight curves. Filling the tank isn't too costly considering the alternative vehicles in the SUV range. A full tank of gas would usually last about five days with frequent trips between home, work and school. The Dodge Durango is quick off the line for a mid-size SUV. Pressing down on the accelerator let's you feel the raw power of the massive engine. Getting up to 55 mph seemed to happen unexpectedly so many times. All around, the Dodge Durango is still a great-looking, mid-size SUV with the heart of a beast.

I love my 2003 Dodge Durango. It has definitely been the best truck that I have ever owned. It has a very great build quality, a very sturdy well made truck. It has great power in case you need to tow something. It has great interior room with seven passenger capability. It has great amenities from heated leather seats, to second row heater and A/C controls.
