When I bought this car, I was very excited. It was the best designed crossover SUV at the time. I compared it mainly with Honda CR-V, and found that Mazda was much more of a "driver's car." It is more stylish, good looking and exciting than the CR-V, which basically drives like a small school bus. Inside and out Mazda CX-5 is an exciting automobile. It just makes you want to get into it and go for a ride. At the same time, it's sensible with a big trunk that you could really use when you have to transport a family.

I like the car overall - all the features blend together to form a car that is solid. Driving the base model, the Mazda performs admirably well, regardless of the where you are. Fuel efficient, sporty, and has plenty of room for whatever you need. Having driven this car for 10k miles, this car is perfect whether you're going grocery shopping, or going on a long drive. It has a standard mode for driving as well as a sport mode for those that need to get somewhere in a hurry. The car is well built, reliable, and all the qualities one can hope for. Is it a Ferrari? No - but for an SUV that can get you from point A to point B in comfort, this is the car for you.
