What I like about it is how smooth it handles. It also gets a good amount of mileage per gallon. The displays are good. Can not believe that a car with that many years on it still performs well with a minimum of maintenance. It was a good investment. The styling is good as well. I like the traction control. Parts are not very hard to come by and luckily we have a Mercedes Dealership in our area for parts and repairs. Actually no repairs needed just simple part replacement. It's a very comfortable car as well. The electronic controls are very good. It has a very good braking system. The acceleration is outstanding and is easy - so easy, in fact that you don't even feel how fast you are going many times. When I first drove it and saw how quickly it accelerated. It was scary how smoothly it did so.

The C43 is a limited production AMG model manufactured and hand assembled in Germany. The C43 has an AMG tuned 4.3 Liter V8 engine, racing transmission and performance suspension. The Package includes BOSE sound system with trunk CD changer. The car has front heated driver and passenger seats. The AMG comes with full leather black interior. The Car has a roomy 3 person rear seating with head rests on the left and right seats. Performance is not an issue for this model of Mercedes which does 0 to 60 miles per hour in just under 6 seconds with 302 horsepower and 300 foot pounds of torque. I bought this vehicle new and "broke it in" driving from Los Angeles to Vegas on impulse -- I literally didn't want to stop driving the car it was so much fun. Cruise control at 75 MPH was able to get me to state line, Nevada in just a little under 3 hours.

The C43 is not just performance. It's clearly a car designed with the comfort of the driver and passengers in mind. The cushioned seats and drink holders and window controls available to each driver make for a custom suited travel option for both driver and passengers. Both driver and passenger have adjustable lumbar and mid back support through separate controls which only adds to the comfort experience. As previously mentioned the car's price may present some challenges for those looking for an entry level sporty sedan. The brake light bulbs seem to need constant monitoring for replacement which can result in unforeseeable fix it tickets by traffic enforcement police officers. While, it's not necessarily a huge con, the C43 feels as smooth at 65 as 105 on the highway which can easily encourage drivers who are not lead foot to risk speeding to their destinations. The price of gas makes the 91 octane requirements put a dent in your pocket book.
