This vehicle has been mostly dependable. The good: Excellent handling around corners. Plenty of hauling capacity with the hatchback. Loaded with leather seats and all the optional accessories. Decent gas mileage. A very powerful v-6 engine. Front wheel drive. The bad: The engine is placed sideways in the car. This makes it very difficult to work on. 3 of the spark plugs are almost inaccessible. This car is 17 years old so I have replaced the air conditioner, starter, alternator. Overall This has been a solid car. If you work on your own car, you might want to avoid this one.

This vehicle is very reliable. It has served me and my family for 14 years and many many miles. We have taken it on two cross country road trips and yearly interstate road trips so it's current 150,000 miles have been well used. The main reason that we have kept it this long is that there are too many good memories attached to it and it feels like part of the family.
