Frustrated
Overall I was in mad love with my Z, unfortunately the road to it's current state carried a hefty bill. The styling of the car was outstanding, some call it the poor man's Lambo, or the Japanese Lambo. It's a very sleek & foreign look that had Nissan looking like the car of the future. Every time I looked at my pearl white 300ZX 2+2 I couldn't help but light up because the car was one of the most beautiful things I'd seen. It was decently low & generally compact so it could have been more comfortable, especially for the +2 passengers, but overall I enjoyed it's comfortability. There weren't any off noises or blind spots. I had it in the shop often due to my ambition & poor care from the previous owner. Costs were somewhat fair being Japanese, but it was a money pit nonetheless. It performed amazingly well & was a blast to drive. Stock pushing 222hp is a nice kick for a 1990. Braking & handling were fabulous, hit corners like no other car. I felt somewhat safe in the car because it lacked airbags in the 1990. I felt very in control of the vehicle when driving, drifting, in rain etc.

A poor man's super car
The 300zx has a very elegant look to it. It is sleek, slender, and an absolute blast to drive. The performance is top notch for what you would have found in the price range when it came out new, but for finding used models in good condition for this generation 300zx it can be absolutely phenomenal for under $10,000. The twin turbos really propel this thing forward, and the stock turbos hold up a lot better in the long run compared to the stock turbos on newer cars such as the twin turbo Audi S4's. For the time, the interior is actually very well put together and gives a sense of luxury. The paneling and layout of the center console form a cockpit like area around the driver's seat to make you feel like you really are in a super car. It even has dual zone climate control!
