2003 Nissan Altima - Great reliable car for first time owners.
I like my car because in my opinion it is reliable and great for people first moving out ad being on their own. This car is spacious without being bulky or too long for turns. I can fit groceries from several stores and still have room in the trunk. I can access the trunk by using my key fob, using the lever built into the door, using the key, or by accessing through the back seat. This car uses fuel economically and I only need to refuel about once every 10-15 days in the city. It drives smoothly without making noises or any shaking. The car is comfortable to drive and on long drives. The seats are covered in a soft material that can bee cool and warm without burning your skin in the summer. This car has more than 150,000 miles and it still drives as if I have only had it for a year. ... (more)

I had only had the car for a couple of weeks when the wheel locked and I panicked. I thought I had broken the car. My store manager had to come out and show me how to wiggle the steering wheel in order to unlock it. I was so relieved that it wasn't broken, I think I will never forget this experience. Afterwards I thought it was a nifty feature to have in case a kid got behind the wheel, but th... (more)
A Favor
I feel that this car is great for first time owners. I have owned two cars previously since I knew I was going to be on my own. Both of those cars were unreliable and something was constantly wrong with them and I was disappointed because I really wanted to keep the ford. I ended up buy this car from a mechanic that is a friend of the family. There weren't many miles on it because it was his kids but he only drove it when he got back during semester breaks and they were getting him a brand new one for graduation. This car is the most reliable car that I know. It will save you money on gas ... (more)
En Contra
This car is a good car, however I did have trouble with the alternator last year. The mechanic had to come to my house and service it here and within three days it was back to being my car. There really isn't many bad things to say about my car. I guess, it takes a bit long to defrost in winter and since it sits low to the ground you have to be careful where you drive in the winter, if the road has not been plowed I don't chance it because I could be stuck. I don't like that it is not an American car, but it has lasted a long time. I had a ford focus previously and only had it about a year... (more)
2003 Nissan Altima - A great vehicle with endurance at a great price!
This car has exceeded my expectations. It is driving very smoothly and has taken several trips to other states with no problems. I have driven over 150,000 miles and the exterior and interior are still in mint condition. The engine is still strong and so is the transmission. I have had no major issues so far. The windows seem to have a problem after a few years but overall this was a cheap replacement. The horsepower is much stronger than other vehicles. The car had several upgrades such as leather seats and steering wheel buttons for the CD player. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a great car with minimum maintenance.
Historia
The one story I have is driving across the country from Florida to California. Not many people would attempt that. But the experience driving this beautiful car with cool AC, leather seats and cheap on gas across the US is something I'll remember. I didn't know it will be possible, but it got it done. It never missed on performance for a second!
A Favor
The main pros are strong engine and power, spacious interior, and nice look. Great price compared to other similar brands with readily available parts. Leather seats are a must since they lasted twice the time and needed very minimal care. Great trunk space for travel. Safe car to drive around.
En Contra
The very few cons I have are the power windows which seem to need replacement within a few years. The problem appears to be in the holding clips of the window that are plastic and break. Another con is the coil boots which went out a couple of times. Both issues were cheap to fix however. The newer models have the battery connectors attached to a plate which is impossible to replace individually. When the connector went bad, the only way to fix it was to replace the plate which was about $200. Additionally the keyless models can't start temporarily since everything connects to this plate/p...
