Nissan Frontier just okay
The Nissan Frontier is just okay as far as small trucks go. It's not a bad little truck but I don't think it as at the top of it's class either. It lags somewhat on steep hills. It also isn't very good at passing on the freeway. Overall it doesn't have very much horsepower. It's ok if you just need to haul some supplies like 2 X 4's for a small home improvement job. But I wouldn't use it to tow a boat or even jet skis. It gets average gas mileage and is good at getting you from point A to B. But if you want a work truck then this isn't it. This is good for everyday driving to and from work and the occasional hauling of light items, like moving a sofa. The ride is smooth and for the most part it handles well. It does lose some traction on the back wheels in the rain though. I guess this is due to it's light weight. The extended cab has little seats that fold out but they are barely big enough for a child to sit comfortably. But they also have to sit sideways in the vehicle so I doubt that this is very safe. I would only use the extended cab as grocery space and not let anyone sit back there.

Very reliable
I really like this car because if has proven its durability and toughness through a whole lot that I have put the car through. Firstly, I bought it used, and it had a lot of miles on it, but it was in great condition. I have driven it across country on some pretty tough roads, and all I have had to replace were the tires one time. I have had no major engine problems, just minor maintenance issue like brakes, oil and electric problems. But these problems were very minor and cheaply fixed. It is an old truck, so it does not have all the fancy extras that the new cars have, but everything in the interior is basic and working properly. The seats and floors are a little old, but they have held up so well. I am really impressed. After a good wash, it almost looks like a new cars still. I like that the parts to the car are cheap to replace and are easy to get to, and this was a big reason I got the truck. I built a house for two years, and the truck hauled loads of heavy cement and construction materials even over a rugged dirt road where the house is located. After completion of the house and three years later, the truck is still going strong!

Awesome truck.
This has been a great vehicle. I bought this truck three years ago for $6,500.00. When I purchased it it had 140k miles on it. The main reason I bought it was for work. I needed a good, dependable vehicle as I was going to be traveling about 125 miles a day. The main reason I chose a Nissan Frontier was I wanted something that was small but still had the ability to haul things if needed. I was not very concerned with a lot of bells and whistles but I was happy with what was offered. It has a CD player, cruise control, and power windows which was all I needed. One of my favorite things about the vehicle has been how easy it has been for me to work on. I had one major issue where I had to buy a new motor but it was my fault. I did not change the timing belt when I was supposed to but I found a motor and put it in for about $700.00. It was worth it to me to spend that money because I really liked the truck. Another good thing about this truck is you can find new/used parts everywhere. Probably my biggest complaint with it has been the gas mileage. I was expecting it to get a little more than I was actually getting. It has over 270k miles on it now - it's been a good truck.
