Not well thought out
Overall, I would say the truck looks very nice. The exterior has great lines and the interior leather is very comfortable and easy to keep clean. It is 4WD and that is critical as I live in a rural area with dirt roads that get slippery when wet or snowy. I also like the SmartPhone synch that allows me to use the phone while I drive. I have driven approximately 35,000 miles, and mechanically the truck has performed well, however there are a few things that are not great. The turn radius is abysmal compared to previous trucks I have owned, such as my Dodge Dakota. Several times I have been unable to complete a upturn or similar without more than 1 attempt - sometimes putting me in danger. Also, there are wires under the seat that can become disconnected if you put something under the seat - that is a poor design. There is not enough clearance for a 4WD vehicle to be useful in the area where I live. The system that turns off steering when it gets slippery is downright dangerous and therefore useless.

Dependable reliability
This vehicle is a stick shift. It runs very well. I have never had to take it into the shop. It is a small, manageable size.

Want to pay more for less.
The build is less than necessary. While the seat can be leaned forward to put items behind the driver and passenger it is too small in order to actually achieve anything. Instead, the driver must either put very little in the vehicle, or buy a box to put into the bed of the truck and risk having people steal it. The fuel efficiency is less than what one would be expecting for a vehicle with only 4 cylinders ; instead, you get the performance of a late 80s 4 cylinder vehicle and the fuel efficiency of a 90s V6. At an average of 19-21 mpg you would think that at least you can save some money, remember, this is a late 80s powered engine in a 90s vehicle, so you are going to have to be in last gear on the highway anyway and if you want to go on the free way your going into the yellow...period -- goodbye 19 mpg. Oh and lets talk about noise. Yes, noise! If you don't like to hear the engine blasting into your ears as you drive down the highway and hear it compete with the radio you're playing, you bought the wrong badly built 'truck'. You might think this will at least tell if something is going wrong with the engine, well, it's a 91 so chance is it's going to sound bad either way or it's not running Beside being able to take the vehicle apart a lot easier than modern vehicles, I wouldn't suggest having anything to do with this pickup if you can choose otherwise. It really can be taken apart easier than a lot of newer vehicles I've seen, but I would throw it down a canyon is it mean getting another vehicle. Even if I had to clean up the mess later.
