Get yourself a Ford Escape!
I've owed my Ford now for a little over a year. Great, dependable car. It's a good quality car. It has a V6 engine, four-wheel drive and tinted windows for privacy. It's decent on gas. I actually just took a three-hour trip with it and had no problems at all. The interior is grey and black, eclectic windows and locks. It has a hatch back, the back is large enough, and the back seats collapse for even more storage room. The spare tire is located under the vehicle. It has a CD player and air conditioner. I love how smooth it drives. I love how fast it will go in a short period of time. It handles amazingly. I took it to the drive ins last week with my kids and was able to pull the back seats back, and it was large enough to fit myself and my kids comfortably. It also comes with a security alarm, and the side mirrors can be pushed in as well, which is big for me because I don't have off-street parking. In the past, I've had my side mirrors hit multiple times. I think the biggest plus is that it's an SUV. When I'm driving it, I feel very safe. The car is metal, not plastic, so it makes me feel more protected if I was to get into an accident. All and all, I love my Ford Escape. Out of all the cars, I've ever owed, this one is, by far, my favorite!

Reliable and all around great vehicle
My vehicle is a Red 2005 Ford Escape XLT with V6. Compared to vehicles in more current years, the styling is much more boxy but not outdated. I actually prefer this styling as their are minimal blind spots. Its appearance is aggressive yet soft enough for the average driver. I would rate the comfort level to be above average. The front seating is adjustable. Bumps, curbs etc. are minimally felt in this vehicle. This vehicle has a lot of space , which is necessary for my height and long legs. I also require a good amount of rear space once the seats are collapsed for crating several dogs and still having room for smaller luggage. I have had this vehicle for a long time. It ran quietly the first day and over 100k miles later, it still runs just as quiet. There have been recent noises in the car that are a matter of general maintenance/ wear and tear over time. I have not had this vehicle serviced often other than for regular maintenance. Although hard to tell these days with the high cost of gas, the gas mileage is an average expectation for its type. This vehicle has been very low maintenance as far as cost. This vehicle is very fun to drive. It is raised off of the ground just enough to see accurately especially in heavy traffic. The seating is at the perfect height for entering and exiting. It has great handling and has always been reliable on tight turns. Acceleration speed and efficiency has decreased with age, but this may be fixed with proper maintenance. With that said, it still handles things such as lane changes, swerving to avoid objects and hills without fail. Braking has always been reliable. I have never had to use the emergency brake on any incline (note vehicle is an automatic). I feel completely safe driving this vehicle and there is a huge ease of control.
