My 2010 Ford Fusion SE has been a great car. There aren't any features that I actively dislike, and I enjoy it much better than other, newer cars that I've driven. The power is good and steady, it looks nice, and it offers all of the features that I need/want. I would say that the quality and performance are both good. I love the way that it handles on the road, especially dealing with snow and ice in the winter.
Story
I think of my car like a person and he has a personality because I've been driving him for so long. Living in a college dorm, I would go most weeks without seeing the car at all. So when I left to go home on the weekends, it was great to see him and have that time to drive home. It was kind of like seeing an old friend. This car has been so good to me and hasn't given me the problems that I've... (more)
Pros
The amount of space in the car is great. The front seats can be pushed back all the way and still leave room in the back seats. Trunk space is great and storage spaces up front are useful. My favorite feature is the steady drive of the car. I can lift my foot off of the gas to coast and a passenger would never know because it doesn't jerk like some other cars do. It's a very smooth ride. I also like the visibility. A lot of newer cars have a strange view from the driver's seat that make it hard to correctly judge where the front of the car is. I've never had troubling judging distance. The... (more)
Cons
I haven't had any major issues with the car. Outside of regular maintenance, one of the biggest problems was that the driver's side door handle inside cracked for seemingly no reason. I had to get it replaced, and the dealership said that they had seen that often with Fords, so it seems like a Ford issue. Also, the wheels (hubcap) have a lot of visible wear. Some of this is obviously due to living in Ohio and dealing with snow and salty road conditions, but it seems excessive. It's not a cosmetic issue, but rather it seems like they might be a cheaper material. To me, these aren't huge pro... (more)

This car was my girlfriend's first car after high school and performed as expected for an American midsize sedan. It was mostly reliable, and when it did have issues, they were cheap to fix. It got you from point a to point b relatively comfortably and was a good driving appliance. It was moderately fast but nothing sporty. The handling was horribly sloppy, and the body roll was huge around corners.
Story
I once took it on a road trip half way across the country. Three close friends joined me on the trip. It was a ton of fun as we went to a bunch of major cities that we had always wanted to go and went out to the bars and clubs for a night and then would either find a hotel or split sleeping between the car and the tents we brought along.
Pros
This car is great for commuting. It is going to get you where you need to go and be reliable and cheap to fix. The ride is pretty comfortable, and the acceleration is perfectly fine. I really like the huge trunk where you can easily fit all the groceries plus a bunch of other junk without issue. If you run out of space, then you also have the whole back seat to fill up. Leg room is great even for rear passengers. Also, this thing is a tank, so you should be pretty safe in it.
Cons
This thing is about as far from a sports car as you can possibly get. Now I donÕt expect my American sedan to be a race car or anything, but dear God, this thing feels like it is going to go rolling off the road whenever you take a slight turn at more than five miles per hour. ItÕs great to have these loose springs when you head over the tracks in the middle of nowhere, but there needs to be a balance. Ford needs to know I am turning a lot more than going off-roading.

I was involved in an accident and knew exactly what I wanted to buy (the same car I had previously). I called around and they were able to find me the car I was looking for at a a decent price. It was a pretty good experience that didn't take me that much effort. Everyone I had contact with was professional.

It was easy to speak with a dealer. I felt no pressure at all. Their website price match the price being listed at the dealer. I was not rushed and put first.
