I absolutely love my truck. It drives really well, and there is hardly anything wrong with it despite it being 18 years old. It is a good little truck, although it can be a little light sometimes. However, going from my old Ford Explorer to the truck was a good choice, because the truck is able to carry things that the Explorer wasn't. The truck bed is just enough, it could have a little more space with smaller wheel wells, but it still works out just fine for me. The back seats are kind of a joke in terms of seating room. No one can actually sit back there so I don't know why they are even there, they just kind of take up space. The back window if kind of a joke, too. The sliding window just isn't very useful anymore. But, all in all, it's a pretty good truck, and I'm glad I own it.
Story
It was the ultimate cruising vehicle, my ex-girlfriend and I would always ride around in it and just go driving. There was nothing better than that. It was just a fun time.
Pros
Easy driving, small truck bed, comfortable seats, enough room, and carrying capacity. Just a great truck.
Cons
As it got older, it required more and more upkeep. There was a lot of work put into it as it has gotten older, compared to when we first got it. The back seats are a joke.

1998 Ford Ranger - Great, it's solid.

Overall, it has been a great vehicle, both functional and reliable, which are the two qualities I want most in my vehicle. I only have had to fix a few things on it. It has 160,000 miles on it and has made three trips across the country. I have had to do only routine maintenance on it so far, that is breaks, alternator, and some other small parts.
Story
I wasn't fun, but I did have some trouble driving home one night when there was fresh snow on the ground.
Pros
Its reliability is its best feature. It seems to run well all the time, even after a lot of miles and long trips. I've had multiple people tell me it is in great shape for its age. It has two four-wheel drive options, and a roomy extended cab.
Cons
The worst thing for me is that I'm too tall to see comfortably out the window. Often I cannot see stop lights without leaning over. This is understandable to some extent because I'm above average height, but not that much at 6'2". It has the extended cab, so sometimes the bed is a little smaller than I would like it to be. At one point it was leaking coolant, but this was a minor inconvenience and easily fixed with a replacement part.
