I just ticked over 194,000 miles on my '01 focus and the little thing is still running strong. Overall it is cheap reliable transportation. Emphasis on cheap. I have had to repair very few things over the years, but she is holding on by a thread. The coolant system is duct taped together and I burn antifreeze. If I get stuck in traffic it can overheat. The little engine could use a lot more power. The suspension makes me scared to turn when it's wet outside. The interior is as cheap and basic as can be. The back windows don't roll down and the front driver's window had to be put back on its track. The trunk pop button stopped working so the only way into the trunk is with the key or key fob.

I have had a couple different Fords over time, as have my family. They are good cars and have always been built great. This time, the transmission was recalled and it was a very big hassle. I know that if it weren't for that, I would have nothing but positive things to say about Fords. The best thing about them is that they are reliable. I'm a pretty simple person and don't require too much in a car and Ford is great for that. Not too complicated, easy to understand. My favorite thing about it is the sync feature with my phone. It helps with my drive by not having to play around with my phone too much. I have an hour commute to work one way so I need something reliable and I have always felt I had that in a ford. I also appreciate that it is an American made car. I would like if it had a little more room in the backseat for my kids and for traveling. I also wish the seats adjusted smoother.
