The 2004 Honda Civic coupe has been my stalwart baby car, the first I ever purchased on my own. She's dependable, very economical, and I've never had a problem with her. I have maintained her exactly according to the recommendations in the owner's manual and she performs like a champ day after day. Whether in the city or on a road trip, she's a dream. I highly recommend this car. The only reason I even consider moving on (to another Honda, of course) is because it's a two-door coupe and my family is expanding. This car is a single person car and super fun to drive!

I bought this car with 240,000 miles on it. There were a few cosmetic issues but mechanically sound. It is a standard and easy to shift. I love driving it on the thruway as it handles well and has cruise control. It gets excellent gas mileage and doesn't lose oil, yet. The ride is fairly quiet and comfortable. Although the seat placement is too low for me and I adjusted it with a throw pillow. The windshield has a persistent leak which is frustrating and ongoing fixes. I don't like the "security" features such as the lock preventing crawling through the trunk into car. The placement of the door locks (why are there two of them) is horrible. I locked myself out several times and had to crawl through the trunk. I have put about $1,500 in repairs and replacement parts which I consider to be slightly below average for this age of car.
