Excellent Car
This car is a great compact car that doesn't feel compact. I've driven it for nearly five years now and have never had an issue with it beyond normal wear and tear. This car is a great value for the price.

Pretty good fit
I leased the Fit for my school-age daughter her senior year, but ended up driving it myself when she went away for a summer internship and then college. This was the fourth Honda I owned ('82 Civic, 2002 Odyssey van, and 2012 Pilot), so obviously I am a fan of their cars, though this may have been my least favorite. Under the hood, I never had any problems with the engine; runs like a top. But I will say that it is seriously underpowered. This was not a big concern for my new-diver daughter who picked the car and I suppose underpowered is better than overpowered for a kid (though I am of the school that minimum power is actually safer) but it was pretty underwhelming to drive. There also is a notecable pause when you first hit the accelerator, which is probably related to some sort of fuel economy feature. Handling is reasonably tight. The interior is functional and quiet, though not terribly beautiful. Fuel economy was very good, but my single biggest complaint is the range. The thing has a REALLY small fuel tank so, notwithstanding the good mileage, it seemed like I was always stopping for gas. Not fun! There also was an issue with the trim on the hatch. It may have been because it was a very cold day, but I was trying to open the hatch and my hand slipped from the (tiny) lever on the back and struck the flimsy plastic cowling that covered the handle and it snapped. Poor design and quality, and I am sure I will get dinged for it when I hand the lease in.
