Used Volkswagen Golf GTI for Sale in Albany, NY

One of the things I liked about the car was that it was a smaller car (and living in and around NYC, is a godsend as far as parallel parking). It had a great interior with sturdy, quality materials from everything from the dashboard to the seating material (seating cushion never pilled/peeled apart, leather was durable and didn't crack over its 10+ year use). It had plenty of room to transport around large suitcases or people in the backseat (even if they were > 6 feet tall), and the trunk was pretty spacious. It was definitely a comfortable car and I rarely had any issues with my back, as I commuted ~1 hour to school most days while driving it. It was a pretty zippy car (as I have a heavy foot) and despite my heavy foot, it got great gas mileage and was cheap to fill up (~20+ or so I believe).

I previously owned a 2000 VW GTI VR6 in futura yellow. I absolutely loved the color and often got many compliments on it as you just didn't see that color everyday. The interior had the best trim package, something that you would expect in a luxury car model but not an economy car. The leather seats held up for 10 years and were still in near perfect condition when I sold the car. The blue dashboard lighting was easy on the eyes for night driving--something I truly miss now that I have bright white dashboard lights. There was no interior noise and no rattles you get with other typical economy sports cars. The car was also exceptionally fun to drive. It handled very well in corners and turns. It rode smoothly with bumps hardly noticeable.
