2009 Honda Fit - A great city driving, stuff hauling car

It is the most convenient grocery getter I have ever owned. The hatchback is perfect for stowing stuff easily. It's a small car that easily navigates city streets, and small parking stops. It gets great gas mileage. It has an mp3 usb attachment making the otherwise lackluster stereo rather enjoyable. The biggest con would be that it is a little stiff driving. It probably keeps it nimble, but you feel the bumps a little more than I would like. Another small complaint would be that the slope of the windshield means more scraping in the winter when it snows or frosts. It isn't going to win any races, but it is reasonably snappy with the first 3 gears being so close together. It has enough power to get onto the freeway but won't be exhilarating by any means. I would recommend it ... (more)
Story
I have enjoyed having it start every day during the last significant cold snap.
Pros
Low cost of ownership. Reliability. USB mp3 plug for the stereo.
Cons
It has a fairly stiff ride. The stock stereo is pretty lacking.

I have a 2014 Model S Ford Escape. It has everything I need but after purchasing it I now wish I that I had gotten a higher trim level.
Pros
Overall the vehicle has everything I need. It came standard with a back up camera, blue tooth for my phone, tilt and telescoping wheel, cruise control, and power windows and mirrors. It has enough power and quiet ride overall. Over all the interior is good, it has decent storage and it is laid out well. The seat fold down easily to make room for your stuff. One unique feature I have grown to like is that the vehicle has no gas cap. Just pop open fuel door and insert fuel nozzle. It gets pretty good mileage on the highway if you use cruise control - about 27 MPG.
Cons
The transmission has a delay when you put into gear that is noticeably long, especially reverse. It has voice command for some features but it often times makes mistakes, and setting it up is somewhat of a chore. If I were going to get another Escape I wouldn't get the S trim level only because of the looks. The hub caps aren't very appealing compared to rims and the higher models have a fog lamps which I think are somewhat useless but on this vehicle they look better than extra large orange blinkers which the S has.
