The 2003 Honda Odyssey is by far one of the best vehicles I have owned. The maintenance has been very low with only oil changes needed and routine maintenance done. It has the most rear cargo storage of any minivan on the market with the deep well that the rear seat can fold into (also making it easy to move the rear seat) and can haul a 4x4 in the back space. It handles exceptionally well and between it and our car, I pick it to drive long distances. The seats are comfortable and adjust well.
Story
We loved taking it out of the country to Canada. It was a comfortable ride and handled itself great on curvy as well as busy streets.
Pros
The dual automatic sliding doors are fantastic. I use them all the time when getting our kids in and out. The individual air vents for each seat in the rear are handy. The seats middle seats can be configured three different ways easily with the pull of a lever and the seats are lightweight to pull out if needed. It is spacious in the back for space and we have enjoyed taking it to the drive-in theater and using the space instead of sitting on chairs on the ground. It has cruise control, radio, and CD player.
Cons
The gas mileage is pretty standard for a vehicle of the size, but is not as great as some newer models are. Also, it lacks the 8th seat that newer Odyssey models have that would be handy for fitting more passengers. It is a larger vehicle to maneuver in traffic and parallel parking is usually a challenge, but it comes with the territory of owning a larger vehicle.

The Honda Odyssey is a great family vehicle. There are many features about it that puts it in a category a class above most vehicles similar to its standing. It is a vehicle that several of my friends also own because they each love it for some of the shared reasons of which I will now touch on below.
Story
We took the vehicle to Yellowstone and greatly enjoyed driving around the park with it. It was spacious enough to eat inside too when the weather wasn't good.
Pros
I love the sliding doors on both sides. That feature saves other vehicles from being hit by passengers exiting the Odyssey. The rear cargo space is my absolute favorite thing. There is enough space for the rear seat to be folded down into the cargo well and a 4x4 fit in the back for hauling. There is also the option to leave the back row up and use the rear cargo well for storage. There is ample storage using it that way. Our family loves to go to the drive in theater and put the rear seat down using the back seat as a way for us all to watch the feature film. Not all vehicles allow for th... (more)
Cons
The gas mileage isn't the best in the industry. The paint can start to chip on the back bumper leaving spots.
