I suppose that the 2012 Honda Fit I had purchased with my husband in the spring (late spring) of 2014 in the city of Tacoma in Washington state is a sufficient vehicle that meets my needs and my husband's needs, as well. There is nothing extremely nor remarkably stellar about the vehicle (especially when compared to other similar brands and models of personally owned vehicles), and its price leaves something to be desired.
Story
It was fun driving from Seattle to Spokane and back. I could get across the whole state on just over a tank of gas (~300 mi.).
Pros
I guess the thing that made my husband choose this car over others was the fact that you could plug your iPod into the top glove compartment in the USB port. But it does not do you any good if you have an Android phone or an iPod (made by Apple) that has an insufficient battery, so I guess that was kind of a waste, huh? I will admit that the vehicle is pretty durable, but the Fit is made of what feels like plastic and fiberglass, and this Fit has been in a couple of wrecks--it is not very durable, and the bumpers (both front and back) collapse easily when an outside or exterior force threa... Cons
Fuel economy lackluster. Shoddy build (not extremely sturdy). USB input doesn't support Android. Price is kind of high for it. Small trunk space.

I have had this car for five years and put 60,000 miles on it. It has seen me through two long distance moves, and I have had no issues with it. It still drives like the first day I got it, and other than routine maintenance, I have not needed any work on it. The gas mileage is excellent, averaging 30 mpg in city driving and 35 mpg on the highway. Despite being a fairly compact car, it can comfortably seat four adults. My friend who is 6'6" has even ridden in it with no complaints. With the seats folded down, you can fit an impressive amount of stuff in the car. The overall performance such as acceleration is good - it will get you up to highway speeds in an efficient manner, but obviously it is not a "higher performance" sports car. Being a small car, it is incredibly maneuverable and... (more)
Story
I live near the mountains and this vehicle has gotten me to the trailhead for my favorite hikes. Sure, the drive can be a bit bumpy, but as long as the road is hard and clearance isn't an issue, I always get to the top.
Pros
Gas mileage, reliability, amount of space for overall car size.
Cons
Low clearance. Basic vehicle.
