I bought this car used, in July 2015. The most disappointing thing is that right after I bought it, it began developing shifting problems in lower gears. When I took it to the dealership, the service associate told me this was a fairly common problem. I don't know if it's related just to Fiestas or to Ford vehicles in general. I've had two other Ford vehicles and this particular problem didn't crop up. So, that was annoying. The Fiesta is definitely a cheaper car all the way around (I had a 2010 Ford Fusion which I LOVED). It's got more plastic on the outside, and its safety measures are lower. Aside from the clutch/shifting issues though, it drives well. It has only 14000+ miles on it. Like all the Ford cars I've driven, overall it is fun to drive. I like the way Ford designs its cars... (more)
Story
Well, I haven't had it long, only a month. Though I do find it's quite easy to get up to 75 mph without intending to... Luckily no police were around.
Pros
Love the ambient lighting! It is so cool, though such a first-world luxury (I mean, do I really need to have eight different colors of lights to "set the mood"? No, definitely not. But it's fun anyway. I lucked out and got a Fiesta that had some bells and whistles, such as the "Tuxedo black" paint (sparkly metallic) that my 2010 Fusion had. It's pretty. The trunk is big enough to hold a bike rack and my fencing gear (think sport fencing, not yard fencing). Though it is currently a very hot summer in the NW, I'm sure come winter, I will appreciate the heated seats and the heated mirrors. Mo... (more)
Cons
The back seats have very very little leg room, especially behind the driver's seat when I'm driving (I'm 5'11"). Thankfully I have few passengers in the back seat behind me. When I do, they better have skinny legs! I really really dislike the new grill in the front - it looks like a big gaping mouth to me. I like the chrome grill much better. Cosmetic preference. There are still things I'm trying to figure out about operation, since my used car didn't come with a manual (who keeps the manual when they trade in a car??). The A/C climate control is not intuitive, and I haven't yet figured o... (more)

This is another of Ford's tough little economy cars that don't cost much to run, but keep going and going if you treat it properly. It's also cute as a button, and surprisingly comfortable on long trips. After some recent and rather bad experiences with other car companies, I'm glad I went back to Ford. I fell in love with this car when I saw it, and I wasn't wrong.
Story
To my surprise, there are two other Fiesta owners in my neighborhood with my same exact unusual color of car, and we tend to cross paths at intersections a lot. We always smile and peace-sign each other. I think we are all happy with our cars!
Pros
I love the sheer dependability of the Fiesta. I don't have to worry if it'll start, if one of those electrical lights will pop up on the dash, if it will have some other problem. I also love the roomy hatchback, which holds tons of groceries. Also, it's fast on the level freeways! Surprisingly so-so do look out, if like me you like to drive fast.
Cons
The Fiesta does not like hills, and will not be so fast going up these. Also the Fiesta does make a bit of noise when it starts and drives the first few miles of the day or up the above-mentioned hills. It's not a performance vehicle and doesn't drive like one, but that's not what you buy a Fiesta for. Also some issues with the automatic windows.
