What a great car. I bought this second hand because I know Toyota's have a great reputation for endurance. I was looking for that in a car. The model I happen to get had automatic windows and keyless entry (i guess rare for that model). My coworker helped me name the car "silverberry" because it's round and silver, thus, Silverberry! I have been doing the regular oil changes, and the car has kept running with no problems whatsoever.
Story
I took this car from Seattle to Victoria island on one tank of gas!
Pros
I can do 3 point turns. Fuel efficient. I can carry my 6'2" boyfriend in there comfortably. Keyless entry (Yay to not having to manually unlock every door!). The design is really cute and stands out from the crowd. I don't have to buy gas that often. Simple control system... I hate having a million buttons! Although it can get from 0-60 real quick, It doesn't feel like it because the car doesn't produce that much sound (vroom vroom).
Cons
I wish it came with Bluetooth. Although I know this is a 2007 model, so I know it wasn't standard for most cars to have that. It's the smartphone age, and everybody wants Bluetooth connection! The car feels very lightweight, which attributes to the fuel efficiency, but sometimes I wonder if I get in a car wreck if I will be safe in this car.

The tiny, cute Yaris 2-door hatchback has a shocking amount of passenger room and can comfortably seat 4 adults for long periods of time. Alternatively, the back seats can be folded down for maximum cargo space. The 5-speed manual transmission is extremely responsive, and the car handles nicely. This a very lightweight car, which means it gets great gas mileage but also that it can be difficult to handle on the wet, steep hills Seattle. It's a Toyota, which is sufficient to say that it's reliable car that will remain drivable for many years with minimal maintenance and expense.
Story
I bought this car having just barely learned to drive a stick and took it on as my daily driver, so there was about a month of harrowing, often somewhat comical incidents before I really got the hang of it.
Pros
Good gas mileage (32 city, 36+ highway), very small (easy to find parking), turns on a dime, has a decent power to weight ratio, and is quite nice to look at (a bit like a sized-up SmartCar).
Cons
No power locks or windows (although that contributes to the affordability of the car and is not a huge inconvenience), and can be extremely difficult to start from a stop on a steep, wet hill since the car is so light.

My car salesman was friendly and knowledgeable. They worked with me to get the price to a place that I could afford.
