This car is small and compact, with a manual transmission. The car performs well, getting great gas mileage. The black exterior is a nice sleek color and the light grey interior makes a good contrast. The vehicle has A/C and a powerful heater. I like that he care has fold down seats that connect the trunk to the back seat of the car. This feature allowed me to carry larger objects in the car like my son's toddler bed, and the cage for my 75 pound Coonhound.
Story
I used this car to drive from Spokane, Washington to Albuquerque, New Mexico to visit my sister. The car did amazing and the gas bill was much lower than expected.
Pros
The cars gas mileage is amazing. I can go much farther on one tank of gas than my sister can in a similar car from another brand. As a person who travels a lot to take my son to therapy, gas mileage is important. Also important is the comfy feel of the ride, very few bumps and makes the road feel smooth.
Cons
The top negative thing about this car is the compact size of the car. The car is compact and it is true to size. As my son has grown and we have added a large dog to the family, it is hard to fit us all comfortably as we grow. Also a huge negative is the closed transmission, this was an issue because most car oil places that check fluids do not check the transmission if it is closed, and because of this I had a leak and did not know.

I bought this car with 200k miles and I have only had to do the brakes once and a few oil changes. It now has 223k miles and hasn't given me any problems. The car did come from Hawaii so it has some damage from all of the sun. The car also has an oil leak from the valve cover so I have been keeping an eye on the oil and adding when needed. One time I neglected to check the oil and it did not register on the dipstick. Oops! The car still runs like a champ.
Story
It doesn't snow too much in the Pacific Northwest but when it does, my Kia does fine.
Pros
Very cheap cars but also very light weight and reliable, which leads to them being good commuter or family cars. They are easy to work on for an amateur mechanic as the parts and systems aren't too complex. They can also take the abuse of a teenage driver but won't get them going fast enough to hurt them.
Cons
The interior is cheaply made. The dash, up by the windshield, is starting to peel back from all the heat it has been exposed to, I would not recommend this car for a hot climate. The armrest is broke but usually stays in place. There are also no power options.

It is family owned, which makes the staff very personable. They came highly recommended, and made it very easy to buy a car. I walked in with a specific budget, and they worked with me so that I walked out paying no more than what I had budgeted for!

The dealership is locally owned and operated and the staff are very friendly. Cory was very nice, not pushy and helped me immensely throughout the process of purchasing a vehicle. There is always a nice selection to chose from, no matter the budget you may have.
