This car has stood up well to the past 5 years I have owned it. Very little rattling on the inside, the interior is solid, with pleasant lines and design. I have never had to replace any components on the inside or on the engine for that matter. It consistently get great gas mileage, even when I miss my oil changes by 2,000 miles. Its acceleration is wonderful and the steering is tight, it takes corners well. I have driven over 30,000 miles since I have owned the car, and I have yet to have brake work done. It has fantastic performance and very little required maintenance, and everyone knows maintenance schedules on used vehicles can be devastating to a budget.
Story
My most favorite memory in this car is when I took my son home from the hospital for the first time.
Pros
I really like my comfortable driver's seat. I also like how the console is set up, very ergonomic. It has a lot of get up and GO! Great acceleration. It's perfect for my two-year-old son's car seat, and when he stops needing a car seat, it has lots of leg room in the back seat. Great in the snow too.
Cons
The car is one of the lightest in its class for that year. The soundproofing is lacking. There is a small blind spot when transitioning your view from the windshield to the driver's door window.

Initially I thought the gas mileage would be much better. I average 22 miles per gallon in the city. The 6 speed transmission is frustrating if you ever need to rapidly accelerate. It takes sometimes a full second to engage if you floor it. It does this because the computer is looking for the right gear to maximize gas millage. The blind spots are horrible. I've accidentally cut off more people than I care to admit to, despite my looking before changing lanes.
Story
When trying to accelerate on day I looked to make sure that there was plenty of room in traffic before entering. Then as I entered I saw someone was speeding at me. I floored it and waited. And waited. And waited for the care to find the appropriate gear before engaging. This too about 1.2 seconds which is absolutely horrifying as you see a car flying at you.
Pros
It's very comfortable and heats up quickly in the winter. The safety features are comforting as well.
Cons
There are a few small electrical components that start glitching. After only 4 years, that seems ridiculous. The armrest has a indentation where the plastic gave way as well. If you ever have to accelerate quickly get ready for a heart attack as you look into oncoming traffic and wait for the car to move.

They were super friendly and helpful, it was my first car purchase. I didn't have any credit (I was young) so they gave me a discount for paying for the car in full!
