While it's an ugly car in my mind, it always starts and has never given me a problem I couldn't fix on my own. It's bright red and a bit jarring looking at it, but It's grown on me. This is my daily commuter, and it gets pretty good gas mileage. I average about 32 MPG, and I can get it a bit higher if I drive it like my grandma would. There are no frills here; it has manual everything, except power steering! In the winter, I put some snow tires on it, and it does surprisingly well in the snow...as long as you don't lock up the tires. I'm often passing Subarus with my snow tire clad front-wheel drive. The trunk has ample space for my wares as long as there not in a very big box since the opening is not very big. It's far from a race car, but it has enough power to pass someone when I ne... (more)
Story
It was snowing in Seattle, and I decided to head up to the mountains for a day of shredding. I was a bit worried, but it made it up the snow-covered roads no problems. I did not expect it and was happy I gave it a shot!
Pros
Gets pretty good gas mileage. Good visibility-no big blind spots and very fixable. I've been able to repair any issue that have arisen-electrical/lock issues. Does well in the snow. Low cost of ownership.
Cons
Its ugly! Doesn't have much power. Manual windows and locks. I've had issues with the manual locks malfunctioning and have had to replace them.

2007 Chevrolet Cobalt - This is the best car that I have ever owned.

My car is a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, and it is the best car that I have ever drove. I really like that this car is economical and that I am able to easily maintain it. I like that this car is comfortable and looks like a luxury car. This car gets great gas mileage and is a very good car to use for short trips to the grocery store. There isn't anything about this car that I dislike except that there isn't a lot of leg space for someone who is tall or has long legs.
Story
One memorable story that I had with using this vehicle around my location is that I used this car to adopt my two pets from the animal shelter. I took my pets home in this car, and my pets love going for car rides in this car.
Pros
One of the first positive things about this car is that it is very economical, and it gets great gas mileage. My Chevrolet Cobalt gets 24 miles to the gallon, and it is a very easy car to maintain. I hardly ever have to take this car to the mechanic except to get my oil changed or my tires changed. I also like that this car is perfect for short trips to the grocery store and to run errands. I like that this car looks and feels like a luxury car.
Cons
The only negative thing about this car is that there isn't a lot of leg room in the back seats. In the front seats of the car there is plenty of leg room but the back passenger seats hardly have any leg room. If someone is tall and/or long legged, they will be very uncomfortable sitting in the back because they will be prone to leg cramps. Because of the lack of leg room in the back, it is not the best car to use for long trips, but it is perfect for shorter trips.
