I love my car. It is not the one I would have chosen if I had a lot of money to buy a car but I would have miss out on having this wonderful car! It There is plenty of room and it is pretty comfortable to drive. I love that I get a lot of visibility as the windows are big. It is fun to drive. It doesn't look like a great car but it has power! Good acceleration. I feel somewhat safe, it is a little old. I don't really like the color, it is white. I usually like small cars but this one is long. I don't have any trouble parking it though so it's fine. It is manual so it is not ideal in traffic. There is very few features, it doesn't have AC. The windows are not electric nor is the locking system but I don't mind. I actually like when there isn't a lot of buttons or options. I think it dis... (more)
Story
I can fit a lot of things in my car and moved almost all my stuff with this car. I left it under a cherry tree once and it got covered with cherries.
Pros
Cheap Fun Can fit a lot of things in it Runs great still
Cons
Doesn't look great Color Not compact (can't park anywhere) Manual (when driving on a hill or in traffic)

2010 Toyota Corolla - As standard of a compact sedan as they come.

This car is fairly par-for-the course, without much in terms of bells and whistles, but much like it's history and predecessors, it runs reliably and efficiently for as long as you have it. The interior is nothing special and a bit weak on spacing and accessories, but everything you'll need access to (cup holders, AUX input, climate controls, etc.) are intuitive and easily accessible. It runs fairly well without any hiccups or issues at 60,000 miles, though the acceleration is a bit weak on inclines, and will never improve. The primary downside is when you'll inevitably park it in a large retailer parking lot, and realize there are a dozen cars that look exactly the same as yours. Yours will of course be the last one you check.
Story
Driving through a borough west of Seattle and watching a pack of raccoons cross the crosswalk.
Pros
Reliable and tend to run practically forever. Good above average fuel efficiency. Comfortable seats with a good range of recline, while still having fair back passenger space. Back seats fold down easily for trunk access, or larger items in the back. A/C works great and cools down fairly quickly.
Cons
Acceleration can be a bit weak. Bumper is prone to dents and dings and spatial awareness of it can be deceptive. There are a few recalls to be aware of, and others done the line possibly. Seats sit a fair bit lower than other models. Two fairly small cup holders in the front with no room for expansion.
