My Toyota Corolla has saved my life. I've been in a couple very serious car accidents while driving this car, and each time I have been relatively unharmed. Both were no fault of my own: one a drunk driver and one a serious ice patch. Both times the shell of the car bent around the drivers side like a glove. The car is wonderful. It is easy to drive and overall extremely quiet for a gas-powered car. It also has surprising trunk space. I'd recommend this car to anyone who is a first-time car buyer or is looking for a low impact - low cost option.
Story
I was driving through Portland one day in traffic on my way to surprise my girlfriend (who lived there at the time) when I lived elsewhere, and I felt like going to get a donut beforehand. When I got there, I discovered that my girlfriend had just stopped to get a donut randomly on the same day! We ate our donuts and drove around downtown Portland sight seeing and things. It was a great day. W... (more)
Pros
My favorite thing about the vehicle is the safety. I also very much enjoy how it drives. Wonderful turning radius. Exceptional handling. Good acceleration. The car seems to almost drive "without thought," meaning that whenever I think of something I need to do (merge, U-turn, stop abruptly), it's able to accomplish this task easily.
Cons
It's a very bare-bones car. There were no bells and whistles. Little electronic integration and few "cool gadgets" on the inside of the car. It's also a very light car and has a tendency to skid in inclement weather on the road. Both rain and snow.

I love my car. It is not the one I would have chosen if I had a lot of money to buy a car but I would have miss out on having this wonderful car! It There is plenty of room and it is pretty comfortable to drive. I love that I get a lot of visibility as the windows are big. It is fun to drive. It doesn't look like a great car but it has power! Good acceleration. I feel somewhat safe, it is a little old. I don't really like the color, it is white. I usually like small cars but this one is long. I don't have any trouble parking it though so it's fine. It is manual so it is not ideal in traffic. There is very few features, it doesn't have AC. The windows are not electric nor is the locking system but I don't mind. I actually like when there isn't a lot of buttons or options. I think it dis... (more)
Story
I can fit a lot of things in my car and moved almost all my stuff with this car. I left it under a cherry tree once and it got covered with cherries.
Pros
Cheap Fun Can fit a lot of things in it Runs great still
Cons
Doesn't look great Color Not compact (can't park anywhere) Manual (when driving on a hill or in traffic)
