2010 Honda Insight - Great car, but a few cons
Overall, the Honda Insight EX is a great car, but it does have a few cons that you should consider before committing to this one as your next car!
Story
Within the first month of buying this car, I took it on a road trip to the northwestern-most point in the continental United States!
Pros
The Insight is a hatchback, which I would initially have put in the cons list, but its extra roomy trunk has proven to be a lifesaver multiple times over! The back seats fold down too, making this a great car to haul things in. The Insight is a hybrid assist car and turns off when you come to a complete stop, saving gas! Overall, this engine turnoff feature really saves on the gas mileage, and the Insight turns in some great gas mileage numbers. The interior of the car is ergonomic, and I really love how most of the controls you need are either Bluetooth-enabled, on the steering wheel, or ... (more)
Cons
The engine stop has become a sporadic rather than regular feature, thereby making the gas mileage not as great as when I initially purchased. The light color interior has quickly stained and is difficult to get clean. The GPS, a prominent feature of the EX model, becomes quickly out of date, and at this point, we all have GPS programs on our smartphones and don't need a built-in GPS system! I wish I had thought that one through.
