This vehicle has been wonderful for our family! It is extremely roomy (my husband and I are both tall people). The seats are custom designed, leather, and heated. There are captain's seats in both the front and middle row and we also have third row seating (bench) that folds out of the way easily and is easy to remove. There is plenty of cargo space. And did I mention, it has a 44 gallon gas tank...We only fill it about once a month!
Story
Right after we bought our vehicle, we made a road trip to a large city about 2 1/2 hours away with some other family members. It did great on gas mileage and never gave us any trouble.
Pros
My favorite features of this vehicle include: gas mileage (18-20 in town, which is wonderful for such a large vehicle); leather heated seats in the front (so nice in the winter); third row seating (great for large families or those that like to have company riding along); factory installed side steps (great for those that are lacking in height or have bad knees), and lots of cargo space.
Cons
The only things that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to have a moonroof and the stereo. Our Suburban originally had a console television installed that was removed before we bought it. We decided to upgrade the stereo because part of the components were no longer working. We wanted to install a stereo with navigation, however this vehicle only allows for a single dim stereo (well, one and a half would technically fit but I'm not aware of any stereos that fit that specification). It would be spendy and timely to have a double-din stereo installed.

2004 Chevrolet Suburban - Reliable vehicle.

I have owned this vehicle for going on thirteen years and have never had a major engine or mechanical issue. With nearly 200,000 miles, I have yet to spend any significant amount of money on this vehicle. I used this car for travel, commuting to work, winter driving, and hauling things for projects at home. The interior is still in good shape, and all mechanical components and digital components like the DVD player are still functioning. The only problem I have had is the CO2 indicator needing to be reset and some issues with the seat warmer. All very reasonable considering the age of the vehicle. Maintenance on the car has been easy -- just the standard oil change every few thousand miles. Gas mileage is poor, but again, that is to be expected with a 4x4 and the size and weight of the... Story
Driving up to Mt. Spokane during a winter storm to go sledding. The car had no issues with the poor roads.
Pros
The four-wheel drive, leather interior, DVD player for the kids, and the digital display of gas mileage.
Cons
Gas mileage is poor, it is slow to accelerate, and hard to parallel park.

It was quick with zero hassle. The salesman knew what we wanted and found us the best truck for the price we were willing to pay.
