I have had this car for over 5 years. It has been a very reliable car. I had a few issues with the car's computer in the 2nd year after I bought it. However, once that was fixed the car has run great. I love that the car is rugged and handles the snow with ease.
Story
I was able to tow my boyfriend car out of the snow. I felt like I was on top of the work.
Pros
The car is very reliable and very spacious. At one time I fit 15 friends in my car and three of them were basketball players. The car also handles really well in the snow. I originally bought the car when I was living in Arizona and the car handled the dirt really well. My boyfriend's Audi got stuck in the snow and I was able to tow his car out of the snow with ease. I would recommend this car to anyone.
Cons
The major issue that I had was that the on board computer went haywire about 2 years after I bought the car. This lead to the vehicle's power steering cutting out when I was driving. However, I took the car into the local Chevy dealer and they were able to address the issue and I have not had any issues since. The car does use a lot of gas, but I drive less than 3,000 miles per year because I live in a small town.

This is a great solid vehicle, easy to work on, and plenty of room. Not the best on gas mileage, but you can't expect that with this year and size of vehicle. Great for a family, or great for a kid's first vehicle. As a parent you will definitely feel safe sending your child out in this vehicle. Mechanically, this vehicle is very sound. By doing the regular maintenance, this vehicle will easily run for 300,000 miles.
Story
I taught my daughter how to drive in this vehicle and then let her use it as her first vehicle.
Pros
Many pros to this vehicle To start with, I can't emphasize enough the room inside the vehicle. There is leg room for days and plenty of room for groceries or camping gear for a trip. This vehicle can do it all in that aspect. It also is very easy to work on, and there is a lot of room under the hood to work with, so everything isn't jammed in tight areas, and then you need special tools. This vehicle is great for someone with a little knowledge but not a mechanic to work on.
Cons
The only con to this vehicle that I can think of would have to be the gas mileage. With the newer vehicles now a days all getting such good gas mileage, it is a bit of a downfall to be getting about 15-17 mpg.
