Overall, I really like this vehicle. I originally had a 2 seater sports car and after my second child, I decided to get this bigger vehicle. I am very happy with it. The only thing I dislike is that they no longer make it, and my goal was to trade it in for a new H2 Hummer someday.
Story
I took this vehicle on a 2000 miles trip and it was a lot of fun and comfortable, was able to go off road with it.
Pros
This is a big vehicle, made well, safe (I got hit on the road several times and never had a dent), it is very reliable, I have never had engine issues with it. The body looks nice.
Cons
It is not overly powerful, and the back window is too high, which makes it very hard to see behind the car when parking. All we see is the roof on the car behind us. The outside looks bigger than the inside of the vehicle for some reason.

The 2003 Ford Expedition offers the modern squared styling that ford switch to in the early 2000s. For an SUV, it has a slick look and solid lines that you may not expect from any full size SUV. The interior is spacious offering plenty of leg room even in the folding third row. It's large wide body and low center of gravity make for an excellent handling vehicle. Braking and acceleration are smooth which makes it fun to drive but with the added feeling of safety and control. Maintenance is typical of any full sized SUV and costs are well within the average. Mine has only been the shop once for an oil filter adapter gasket and cost fewer than 40 dollars with parts and labor. Gas mileage is average at about 16 Hwy and 13 City. These numbers can be raised with a change to a cold a... (more)
Story
It's such dependable vehicle both our children were brought home in the hospital in it and it has been with us through moving to 3 different states
Pros
- Ease of Handling - Roomy interior, Three rows of seats or two rows with a spacious cargo area - Durable, major maintenance is rare if routine maintenance is done - Adjustable foot pedals in addition to power seats for better driving position - Comfortable, especially for long trips
Cons
- Gas Mileage - Few car seat anchor points in the third row. - Blind spots may be difficult for some drivers

Anyways, the employee and I browsed around and I told him the cars I was interested in and we got to test driving. He was very down to earth and easy to be around. I definitely did not feel pressured. I told him I was going to meet up with a friend afterwards who was also selling his car and that because of the better deal it was very possible I would get that car instead. The employee was understanding of this and although I left my phone number and address he didn't harass me after that day. I really appreciated that because sometimes I get turned off by dealerships who do that and I don't bother test driving.
