This is a great, affordable SUV with good performance and fuel efficiency. I have it for two years and never had a problem. Drive it everyday, but mostly in the city. Had oil change and nothing else needed.
Story
My kids are very messy and when we clean the car we usually find all kind of food on the floor.
Pros
It's a quiet and comfortable ride. Fuel efficient. Well-built and handsome Bluetooth audio streaming Great Cargo space front seats are comfortable rich sound quality Never had a problem in two years, just oil change It's easy cleaned. I have messy kids that eat in the car and it's really easy to clean and keep it descent.
Cons
It isn't very engaging to drive and the base engine could use more power.

I bought my Ford Escape 2012 used a little over three years ago, and it hasn't let me down since. I usually use my car to drive to work (for a daily commute). I also use it to run around doing errands, go on trips up to the mountains, and just about anything you can think of. The car also fares well on a road trip. It performs really well on all of those things and more. The car doesn't seem to have any problems in the cold/snow, like other vehicles I've had in the past. It's pretty practical, too. There's lots of room in the car to store just about anything I need. I like to buy antique furniture online, and there's plenty of room for a smaller dresser in the back! Plus, the car is pretty comfortable and I don't feel awful sitting in the car for a long time. There are probably some ... (more)
Story
One fun story I have using this vehicle is watching other people struggle to get through puddles. Sometimes rain accumulates in the roads here, and shorter cars have a hard time getting through it (or they can't at all). The body of this SUV is high up enough that you can just get through. Other people's expressions tend to be pretty funny.
Pros
Does well no matter the weather. I don't have to worry about driving it in the snow or rain (things that are pretty common in my state). The car is cozy. There's plenty of space, too, so I don't feel trapped on long trips. That's got to be my favorite feature. Since there's so much space, I don't have to worry about storage in my car.
Cons
The A/C can take a while to turn on. That's okay, but by the time it's on I have the windows down a lot of the cool air is escaping through them. There could be more drink holders. There's two in the front and two in a pull-down slot in the back. Okay for four people, but if you need more than four drinks, it might not work out, and the car is big enough to seat five people. So one person might end up holding their drinks.

The sales guy was cool, we built rapport because we had both previously worked in construction.
