The Elantra car is a great car for young adults and seniors. I like that is very reliable. My car has lasted 10 years. And before this model, I had the 2005 model, which unfortunately, I experienced an accident in. That totaled the car. But I walked away with only a broken arm. I feel completely safe in the car with all the safety features in it. I dislike that it doesn't have enough leg room for my toddler in the back seat with her high chair, and the brakes are very touchy. When someone is not familiar with driving the car it take awhile to get use to the brakes. As I said it is reliable, but speed isn't its strong point. It takes a little to get up to speed. And going up a steep hill it takes a while to go into the right gear.
Story
I once had to help my sister move to college a few hours away. We packed up our cars. She was surprised on how much I fit inside my Elantra, and I drove to her new college apartment. After we unloaded everything, we went shopping for her new stage of life.
Pros
Reliable. It will run well for at least 10 years. Safety features.
Cons
Not good for families, because of lack of leg room in the back seat, and it takes awhile for the ac to cool down the back of the car on a hot day. It doesn't have speed. Brakes are touchy.

I like the Hyundai Elantra the size it is compact but not small inside like the Accent. The shape of the car does impede my side vision a little. The slants of the back windows makes it somewhat unclear when you look to the side. It has a lot of trunk space, which I love. You wouldn't think it had that much trunk space looking at the length of the car. It gets good gas millage, a whole tank of gas last me a week; I drive 60 miles a day. I have not had any problems in the two years I have owned it all it has needed is the regular oil change and brakes. To me it is a very reliable car. I do not like the interior seats, but that is because of the color. The back seat isn't big enough for full size adults, but kids fit just fine. I like that it has different driving gears for the steering ... (more)
Story
When I first was considering buying this vehicle, the first thing I did was look at was the trunk I told my boyfriend to get in to see if he fits, and the inside to see if it had a usb port.
Pros
Trunk size. Overall size of the car. Smooth drive.
Cons
Back window is a little to slanted. Simple radio. Limited room in the back seat.

They were friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. They were not overly pushy or aggressive either.
