2003 Honda Civic - My Super Suburban Pedestrian Car (with peeling paint)
I liked my vehicle because it was super cheap. I'd had a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser that had a cracked cylinder head at 26k miles and was no longer under warranty. Needless to say, it was a lemon. I sold it in a pinch and desperately needed a vehicle. Having heard Hondas are reliable in my effort to avoid the previous car disaster situation, and with hardly any money, I purchased it from a Towing Company who seized the vehicle from someone who'd abandoned it.
Story
My car is a total beater so it's great to strap our bicycles onto and head down to the beach to ride along the bike path.
Pros
Likes: it's a manual which is always fun and it gets good gas mileage for an older vehicle. I get about 35-36mpg. It's been fairly reliable. It's a big sized car and has lots of capacity. The trunk is large. I like the glow of the dash - it's orange and purple.
Cons
Dislikes: It drinks oil like a siv, but at 13 years old that's not shocking. I've had repairs on the vehicle and it wasn't as durable/reliable as I'd initially expected. Despite the old saying "Hondas only need their oil changed", that's not been my experience. My catalytic converter went out on it which is an expensive, unavoidable fix in California. Since then it's been OK minus the major oil leak that I refuse to fix. I've replaced the starter (not shocking considering 150k+ miles).
Notable dislike- my paint is peeling like mad. I've noticed all Honda Civics from the same year as mine ... (more)
2016 Honda Civic - Excellent sedan with legroom!
I truly enjoy this car. The first thing about it is the modern look. Its very sporty. The overall lines of the car look fresh which I feel wont make the car look too dated in the next couple of years. My wife says I look sexy in this car! Next is the space inside. All 6foot 3inches of me fit. The front seat has so much legroom that I have to pull the seat a tad forward. Attention tall people! check out this ride. There's room in the back too. I found a few other car that I could fit in the driver's set but their room in the back would not be adequate. The Civic has approximately 36inches of backseat legroom and the seating alignment allows for comfort and space. This could not happen in the Mazda 3. The interior finish complements the modern look on the outside. The soft plastics are v... (more)
Story
I keep going to the wrong car! Have a very nice blue-gray civic and so do quiet a few other people. I guess we have good taste. Well I've stood pushing my key-fob wondering why my car wont unlock a few times now. Then I realize its a Honda, it just not my car.
Pros
Styling, front leg room, gas mileage.
Cons
The little things that bother me: no trunk button on the outside. Guess Honda thought they would save money and not put a button on the outside of the trunk to open it. The only way to open the trunk is to push the unlock button on the driver's door panel or use your key-fob. This is get until you locked your keys in the trunk and have to open the car to open the trunk and its raining. The seats could be a little more comfortable. I did buy the LX model with base cloth seat. Maybe my butt need more padding? The backup camera is very dim at night. My son has a Honda Fit which seems to have ... (more)

2013 Honda Insight - Honda Cars Of Corona
They sell insights simple and straight to the point. This car was primarily for my wife. There was no ploys displayed by the salesman that showed he was trying to milk us for money. Only sold us what we wanted. Situation was more of a, "We want this and that", and he would get it for us no problem.
2002 Honda CR-V - Jim Doten Honda Berkeley
First time using the online feature. I entered all the specifications that I wanted in the vehicle. Sorted out all the dealers that would have it. No haggling back and forth and dealing with pushy salesman. I went to the dealer, filled out the forms and on the road I went in my new vehicle.
