My Toyota Prius is what one would call a cost-efficient vehicle, a car that fulfills the purpose of effectively getting a driver from point A to point B reliably and, apart from one incident when the hybrid battery failed (and we had to call AAA service to come and rescue us), has never failed to deliver. However, while it does the job, driving comfort and smoothness is relatively lacking. It feels, in fact, like one is driving a relatively cheaper car than in fact the Prius qualifies for, and in some ways it reminds me of a "mom-mobile" but in mini. Overall, if one wants to feel stylish, other options beckon.
Story
The incident where our battery died and we had to contact AAA to bail us out of our jam. At the time, it was quite disconcerting.
Pros
The main selling point (and major positive) is the fuel-efficiency and cost-savings. In addition, the trunk space is constructed with a view to maximizing the space while limiting the outside bulk (or loss in aerodynamics), and finally (due to the uncool nature of the vehicle), it provides for an effective excuse to take a friend's vehicle when given the option.
Cons
The lack of driving smoothness is the major negative. Additionally, there is an increased fear (rightly or wrongly) of the hybrid battery failing, and in the event that it does, there is a lack of flexibility in switching the car to neutral in order to either a) move it closer to another vehicle to jumpstart it, or b) solve the problem in some other manner. Therefore, one is forced to turn to AAA service.

The Prius is quiet and a very easy drive. The gas mileage is everything you would hope for, and there is enough room for most things. The car is a comfortable ride and the computer system keeps you updated on all your car's needs. Easy enough to maintain and is going strong at close to 100,000 miles. It sits low to the ground, so sometimes you bottom out easily. It is not the fastest car and the pickup is low because it is a hybrid. The sound system is good enough. The seats are comfortable, and the keyless start is cool.
Story
I was driving on the freeway, when a large plastic bag, likely a bag for a mattress, got stuck under my car. I dragged the bag for about 15 miles. When I got home the bag was still under my car. I pulled the bag out, but when I drive a lot, my car still smells like burning plastic.
Pros
The car gets great gas mileage, it is smooth, and quiet. Almost no road noise and when the gas engine is off, the car feels like it is gliding. If you just need to move the car in a parking lot or a quick move, you can do so without even starting the gas engine.
Cons
The car sits low to the ground, so it bottoms out easily. It does not have the best room for storage and can be cramped with 5 people in the car. The service reminders can get annoying, and the car does not have a lot of pickup. It doesn't go too fast unless you hold your gas down.

The staff at this dealership made the purchasing process very simple. They were well informed about the different types of features on each car. There were a variety of different vehicles available, with different colors and different features. I was able to negotiate a reasonable price. Although I didn't use it, the financing options were excellent as well.

It's definitely not the best dealer, they are only adequate. I only bought the car there because they had the color I wanted, and the car was in almost brand new condition. The dealer was only adequate. Not friendly, but not unfriendly, and sufficiently efficient with the paperwork.
