2018 Toyota Corolla - The Corolla - the average Joe's car

All in all, I thought that the Toyota Corolla was about as good as you can expect for its relatively cheap price. It costs a bit under $200 per month when leased and has a price tag of around $18,000 when bought. Given that price, the Corolla handled well enough and served its purpose but lacks in-depth modification capabilities and innate comforts.
Story
The one memorable story I have with my Corolla is when I drove 500 miles through the desert to go to Las Vegas during the summer. I thought the car would run out of gas when I forgot to fuel up, but for some reason, it still kept going the extra 15, 20 miles I needed to the nearest gas station even though the car meter showed that it was completely empty.
Pros
The good thing is that the Toyota Corolla is cheap and reliable. It only cost me around $190 per month when leased, and so far, I had no troubles with it. It's good when you need a reliable ride to go to work or some consistent travel.
Cons
The cons about the Corolla largely begins and ends with its price and design - it was designed to be cheap and affordable. Therefore, the acceleration, handling, seats, customization, and other goodies that a car aficionado might be interested in is foregone in exchange for cheap reliable accessibility. This is a car you go to work with and not really have fun with.

The car rides very well for vehicle in it's price range. I've owned the model above it, the Toyota Camry, and the 2014 Corolla is just as comfortable. Seats are exceptionally well formed and comfortable. Base price of lowest end model includes hands-free phone. After 45,000 miles so far it's shown itself to be very reliable needing only oil changes.
Story
I got to the beach often. I appreciate the truck size. I keep all my gear in there. I've taken trips where I've slept in the car. I am 5 foot, 4 inches and I fit very easily in front seat for a nap.
Pros
My favorite feature of this car is by far the seats. I first rented a Corolla and it was the aspect that sold me. A few months later when I was ready to buy a car, I chose the Corolla for this great comfort alone.
Cons
It's a bit rattly. This is something I noticed when I rented it but it's to be expected at this price range. I wish I would have added a Scotch Guard treatment to the cloth seats that come standard. The interior is a bit delicate and cheap looking. It doesn't take much to scuff the dashboard or trim.

This dealership is great since they had a great area to test out the vehicles and were very helpful in providing information on the cars available.
