I like that it has all of the features in looking for in a basic everyday car. For reliability I couldn't ask for anything better, as it is a 3-year-old model and has never needed any major maintenance other than oil changes and tire rotations. The entertainment features are nice and simple, with the ability to play music from a Bluetooth device while displaying track metadata. The fuel economy is great, and I love how easy it is to measure how much gas I'm using at any given time. The paint has also held up really well with no defects or blemishes after 3 years.
Story
I once took it into the mountains and got lost on a dirt road. The car ended up getting stuck, and we had to pull it out with a wench.
Pros
Before driving the Corolla, I had a larger SUV, and out of the many brands of compact cars I tested, I found the handling of the Corolla to have a very similar feel to that of my previous vehicle. I feel like I am I control behind the wheel and have a solid feel for turning maneuvers and acceleration. I also like the way the seats and steering wheel sit so that I get a good view of what's ahead. The Bluetooth features are also nice and easy to pair and play music from just about any device, plus having a dedicated usb charger makes it easy without having to get an adapter.
Cons
The interior seats stain too easily. I went with a model featuring lighter interior fabric, and I hate that even spilling water or condensation from a bottle will leave rings on the seats. The back-up camera quality could be a little bit higher resolution, and better low light performance would be nice when trying to back up at night. I typically average 38-39 mpg around town, but I would have preferred the car to get 40+ mpg for everyday driving like it does on the highway. I also wish Toyota put more effort into supporting non-Apple devices for advanced features like Android Auto or show... (more)

This was my first car. I have owned it for 16 years. This vehicle still runs, and it's very reliable. I have never had any problems with the vehicle because I have taken good care of it. This is the reason why I purchased a second Toyota Corolla because of the reliability they have. As far as the engine and what keeps the car running, I can say it has exceeded my expectations. The interior of the car is what really wears and tears from Toyota cars like the drink holders break, door handles from inside and outside break off, steering wheel start to peel off, and the car's interior roof fabric starts to sag and come down.
Story
I remember taking my Toyota to Yosemite Park. It was great to drive, especially since I went on some curvy roads and lots of uphill. It was a beautiful drive with nice of nature scenes. It was a long drive also but relaxing as well.
Pros
This vehicle is very affordable on gas. I've owned it for 16 years, and it never breaks down on me. It runs very good, and it's reliable. The most convenient features of car is that it is compact car but still can get maximum trunk space because the back seats can go down to create more trunk space. It has child lock protection in back seats, airbags, and the radio and CD still work.
Cons
As I mentioned previously, this is my first Toyota car I have owned. Even though Toyota cars are made to run forever, the interior of the car seems to be not very durable. The door handles have broken on me twice from inside and once from outside. The roof lining started coming down, drink holders start breaking, and also the arm rest console between the pas sager and driver side top wears and tears and doesn't close properly. I know I have owned my car for years, but I know that Toyota has the reputation of great running cars that last. But they also are known for the interior wear and tear.

They had a really good selection of certified preowned Toyotas. Sales staff were all very pleasant (not skeezy like some places). Negotiating the price took quite some time (it's a preowned Corolla. . . that's a pretty high demand car), but if you stick to your guns they'll come down to where you want. The facility itself was very comfortable. If your credit is good enough, Toyota's financing offers can be pretty decent.

Robert's Auto Sales is so great because they allow you to look at the cars fully without running to you and talking to you constantly about the cars. Robert's also has some of the best prices available that aren't through private sales.
