The Mazda 3 is the perfect car for everyday commuting, as well as long trips. The seats are comfortable and the Bose sound system pumps high quality sound throughout the front and rear seats. The drivers seat is comfortable with easily adjustable electronic switches to get your feet and body in just the right driving position. The passenger and back seats have more than enough leg room and a cup holder each. The gas mileage is good at around 26 mpg city, and the drive is comfortable and quiet. Seat heaters are also a big plus for cold mornings as well as front and back windshield defrosters.
Story
Driving around LA on a rainy day with the seat heaters on. The car was reliable, and I felt safe the whole time, even in the rainy traffic of Los Angeles.
Pros
Very comfortable. Smooth ride. Good gas mileage. Large storage space. Simple and reliable upkeep. Inexpensive parts.
Cons
Some limited visibility in blind spots and in the left and right pillars of the windshield.

I liked the mpg I got. The interior is cool. The maintenance cost on this thing have been a headache. The dealer I bought it from is not cooperative with the repairs. this thing has been in a repair shop more than on the road, at least under my ownership. I had a warranty, thank god because I would have had to pay for like $7,000 worth of repairs. New engine, rebuilt transmission, new clutch, and wiring issues. All things I have had to deal with over a 2 year period. It has been an absolute nightmare. I would not do it again if I had the chance. I would have been better off going off Craigslist or auto trader.
Story
It was manual. I enjoyed learning to drive stick again. Fun having more control.
Pros
The price was good and the transaction was fast and easy. It ran really well for a used car for a bit.
Cons
Reliability, there is none. I am always wondering what will happen next. The thing is a money drainer.
