I purchased my Jeep Cherokee in 2012. It was a cash sale and pretty much a buy at your own risk vehicle. When the car is running it's great! Smooth engine and trans. However this is one fixer upper of an SUV. The vehicle has so many cracks that even once they're filled more pop up. The cracks lead to electrical issues galore. The air conditioner never worked and sometimes the fuse for the dash board and back lights will go completely out. I will say the brakes on this car are solid and have never given me any issues. The car is also so old it rusts easily. My passenger side door is completely rusted shut which makes this not a carpool friendly vehicle. Gas mileage is fine, too.
