One reason I enjoy this car is because it's been mostly reliable. It's never broken down on me or left me on the side of the road. However, it has needed quite a few tune ups. The alignment has always been off but never bothered me too much. For the most part, it's been a great car that can be efficient. It was my first vehicle and I still have it seven years later after driving continuous miles up and down the east coast. I'd say it was probably what I would expect for a used car, not perfect but in decent shape and has remained that way.
Story
it was my first car, therefore, it has a special attachment. I've driven it up and down the east coast for many years without worry.
Pros
Nice heated seats. Air and heat have always worked well. Great for transporting things or groups of people. Good at accelerating throughout the years. Paint has lasted. Loose steering and brakes if you prefer that. I feel safe most times when driving due to size. I've gotten in a few fender benders and my car has remainder scratch free.
Cons
Very bumpy when riding. Doesn't have the best gas mileage. Leather interior gets very hot in the summer. Front high beams are kind of dim. Not the most comfortable seating when driving long distances. Alignment is constantly off no matter what.

I admit that I purchased my jeep because of the color (blue)! However, despite the poor reason for purchase, it has been one of the favorite vehicles I have owned. It will go ANYWHERE! I live near one of the National Forests which has plenty of off-road activities. My Jeep has never had a problem getting there; no matter how many rocks or ruts were in the way. I like the way it handles. My favorite thing of all is the turn radius. It will turn on a dime. I have an assigned parking spot at work and it is the very first spot when you turn in - most vehicles would have to either have to come in from the other side (the long way) or back up a couple of times in order to park - not my Jeep - it has an awesome turn radius. I don't like parallel parking, etc.; but it is much easier to handle ... (more)
Story
I live near an area that has a lot off trails. When I first purchased my Jeep, my husband took me up to the top of one of the mountains on one of those trails! We went over rocks that were up to your waist and a LOT of holes, ditches, ruts; you name it. I thought he had destroyed my vehicle for sure......But no problem at all!
Pros
Turn radius Ease in handling
Cons
Gas mileage Number of recalls
