Well I have been pretty pleased being a jeep grand cherokee owner for the past years and my jeep is still running strong. It has a little over 200,000 miles and has not needed in major or very costly repairs since I have owned my 1997 jeep grand cherokee. It goes through the snow without much effort or struggle and it gets me out of some sticky situations sometimes, such as when I get stuck on the mud I just put it in 4 wheel drive and gets unstuck out of the mud without much effort. I just wished that it would get better gas mileage though. It has enough cargo space to haul some thinks that would not fit I a car. I like also that it came with a trailer hitch, just in case I ever need to hook up a trailer. The interior doesn't look cheap and has comfortable seats. I usually feel safe d... (more)
Story
The most memorable thing I can say about being a Jeep Grand Cherokee owner is that I have gotten a lot of compliments about how nice it looks.
Pros
My jeep has not had much mechanical problems and keeps running strong even though it has over 200,000 miles. My favorite feature is that it looks nicer and more hip than a lot of other SUV's.
Cons
I wish that it got better gas mileage and it takes longer to wash and keep clean, because it is a larger vehicle.

I've owned several jeeps over the past 15 years, and this one has been my favorite. We have 4 dogs, a pit, 2 pit mixes, and a Great Dane, and they all fit in the back whenever my wife and I take them to the lake. It's way better on gas then my 97 Grand Cherokee and it's even better on gas than my wife's 2011 Mariner. I've taken it on the beach on numerous occasions and I haven't had any issues. I've also taken it on several trips 400+ miles and there's been no huge issues. The biggest issue I've had was replacing the O2 sensor. It's gone out twice, but once you replace it the first time, it's a breeze. It has over 175,000 miles on it and it runs almost as good as it did when I first got it at 65,000 miles. One other negative is the A/C fan, it's fresh in my mind since it's happening ri... (more)
Story
My wife and I like to go camping on Onslow beach. One of the times we were out there a group of Marines got stuck in their truck. My jeep obviously wasn't as big, but I had no time getting through the sand. We ended up puling them out. It was pretty funny watching a big old truck get pulled out by my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Pros
Good gas mileage, easy to work on, reliable on short and long drives, plenty of room in the back for my dogs.
Cons
A/C doesn't blow as hard as other cars I've had and the power windows have issues sometimes.

It is pretty close to where I live so it was not a very far drive to get there. It is known for being one of the biggest car dealerships on the east coast and the inside is absolutely huge. This was nice as there was a ton of different vehicles to choose from and options from vehicle to vehicle as well as the fact that it was inside so it did not matter the weather.

They were the only ones who would give an 18 year-old with no credit a car she liked for less than $500 a month on the same day. Plus, the guy I worked with was very nice. The first car option they gave me was beautiful but I couldn't afford it, and after looking for days, having no sleep (I work overnights), and being tired of having to take the bus for an hour and a half to get to my apartment that was only a 5 minute car drive away (due to bus routes), I just about broke down crying. Well, this guy worked his hardest and found me my beautiful 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport for a price I could actually afford to pay every month (still high, because of being 18 with no credit, but still able to make the payments). They were the only ones who did it, everyone else wanted $500 or more a month,... (more)
