I love this car! I drove a Toyota Highlander prior to owning the Pilot, and the Pilot stands head and shoulders above. It is sleek, roomy, and has everything my family needs. The interior is stylish yet durable, and the seats are extremely comfortable. My kids have plenty of room for themselves and all their stuff, which was a huge selling point. The car is powerful enough to handle any terrain, and yet smooth enough to feel like a luxury ride.
Story
We took a road trip for 15 hours and, compared to any other car we have owned, my children did not complain at all! They were comfortable and it was fantastic.
Pros
I love the quiet atmosphere inside the car, with hardly any “road noise.” I love the roomy third row, which is much larger than the Highlander I previously owned. The rear cargo area is large enough to haul plenty of groceries and kids’ gear. It is easy to get in and out of the vehicle with its height from the ground. The safety features with all the airbags makes me feel great about driving my kids around. This is an all-around excellent buy.
Cons
My least favorite feature is the auto-idle, which is designed to maximize fuel efficiency in stop-and-go situations. This is a feature that I have to turn off every single time I start the car, because it is extremely frustrating to endure. The car constantly turns off and there is a pause when it needs to restart in order to drive. My other least favorite feature is the lack of a gear shift, with push button shifters instead. This causes a delay in moving between gears.

My husband and I originally purchased this vehicle after we were both nearly stranded in a snowstorm because our 2WD sedans couldn't get enough traction in the snow/ice. I also have family six to eight hours away and we wanted a vehicle that we could comfortably travel in. It does all of these things and more! It handles excellently in adverse weather, can comfortably fit four adults and their luggage. It gets good enough gas mileage to be a daily driver as well!
Story
My husband and I drove 18 hours straight from North Carolina to Chicago to help our friends move. The two of us, plus two cats and a dog and a bunch of fragile stuff. It was definitely the longest drive we've ever taken, and the car performed wonderfully. The drive through the mountains of West Virginia was crazy and fun.
Pros
The vehicle handles very well in the snow and slips very little. Because of the traction system, if one wheel starts to slip it sends power to the three other non-slipping wheels to compensate. It is also one of the most comfortable vehicles I have traveled in. I have a bad back and many car seats bother my back and knees after an hour (or less), but it takes a while in this vehicle, regardless of whether I'm riding or driving. It gets great gas mileage for the size, so it can be a comfortable daily driver, too. Plus, it's loaded with features such as a sunroof and heated seats that make i... (more)
Cons
There are few cons that I can cite about this vehicle. It's loud, as many Hondas are, and could benefit from more soundproofing under the floor mats and in the doors. Loud tires makes this worse, obviously. We've had a few electrical problems in the dash that seem to be pretty typical for these vehicles, but overall no major issues.

This dealership was great because they have "no hassle" salesmen. The salesmen are paid a base rate so they don't have to force sales out of potential customers. My salesman, Steve, never pressured me into the sale and worked with me to get approved for financing. He even stayed past closing time for us to complete the paperwork, and the dealership paid for a full tank of gas for the car I bought.

The best part of this dealership was the salesman who showed me the Accord Hybrid. The salesman treated me as an informed consumer, answered all my questions thoroughly, and did not pressure me to purchase the vehicle. He was also able to answer questions based on his own experience with hybrid cars in general that helped me make a more informed decision.
