I like the car because it is economic and has great fuel efficiency. It is well constructed and modestly styled so it attracts limited attention from car thieves or law enforcement. The car is amply powered with a moderate amount of horsepower which provides enough to be fun to drive and proves suitable for driving through high mountain passes and adverse weather conditions. Honda provides a wide variety of colors to choose from, including multiple trim packages that allow you to customize the car and make it your own. The higher end options provide continuously variable transmission which potentially results in lower long term costs for maintenance and repair. From the very outset, the price is quite low compared to other similar makes and models compared to their MSRP's. This also ha... (more)
Story
I drove out to a long stretch of coastline called the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I folded down the magic seats and put in a futon mattress in the back so I could sleep in my car along the coast and watch the sun set at the night and greet the sun as it rose in the morning. It was an amazing experience and the car provided a large amount of freedom and adventure.
Pros
I liked that there is Bluetooth capability allowing the driver to talk hands free while driving, ensuring increased levels of safety. It is nice that this car still has the option to buy it with a manual transmission. I also like the magic seats that allow me to fit a small futon mattress in the back so that I can camp in remote locations or minimize lodging costs when traveling. Lastly, I like that there is a digital screen that controls all the features like radio, phone settings, and the rear camera.
Cons
I don't like that there is a negative image associated with this vehicle for males in the United States. It would have been nice if there was a 4wd option afforded to this model but it is somewhat unrealistic to expect this as a hatchback. Though shallow, I would have liked the key blade to fold into itself.

I don't love my car the way I thought I would, but I do like it a lot. The car itself is really a nice looking car. Despite its small frame, it is sleek and shiny with some curvature to it that just gives it a nice profile in the parking lot. The interior is way roomier than you would think for a compact car like this one. I have enjoyed the rearview mirror and the interactive entertainment panel that I can wirelessly connect to my phone and listen to my playlist. The fact that I can push a button and start the car without having to dig through my pocketbook for keys is an added plus, and the door will unlock without the keys put into the lock as well. This has served me well many times when I have had my arms loaded down and my keys were at the bottom of my purse. The backseat can com... (more)
Story
I was driving down the highway near Garner, NC, and these two guys in a truck beside me starting signaling to me to roll my window down. They told me that I had a nice car and looked cute in it.
Pros
The top positives are the mileage, stylishness and keyless entry/start.
Cons
The major con I have with this car is the undercarriage. It came off, and despite me having it put back on by a mechanic, it came right back off again. This leaves the underside of my car exposed, and I don't like that, but I cannot afford to keep paying to put that back on. It is made of cheap plastic with cheap plastic snaps (mechanic words, not mine). Also, it takes Synthetic oil, which equals higher oil change prices.

They were very friendly and helpful when helping us pick out a used car. We were on a tight budget, and had not quite found what was right for us at other dealerships. They showed us a good selection of vehicles and enabled us to pick out the right car. They even worked with us on the price to get it down to our target budget!
