I like the car because it is economic and has great fuel efficiency. It is well constructed and modestly styled so it attracts limited attention from car thieves or law enforcement. The car is amply powered with a moderate amount of horsepower which provides enough to be fun to drive and proves suitable for driving through high mountain passes and adverse weather conditions. Honda provides a wide variety of colors to choose from, including multiple trim packages that allow you to customize the car and make it your own. The higher end options provide continuously variable transmission which potentially results in lower long term costs for maintenance and repair. From the very outset, the price is quite low compared to other similar makes and models compared to their MSRP's. This also ha... (more)
Story
I drove out to a long stretch of coastline called the Outer Banks in North Carolina. I folded down the magic seats and put in a futon mattress in the back so I could sleep in my car along the coast and watch the sun set at the night and greet the sun as it rose in the morning. It was an amazing experience and the car provided a large amount of freedom and adventure.
Pros
I liked that there is Bluetooth capability allowing the driver to talk hands free while driving, ensuring increased levels of safety. It is nice that this car still has the option to buy it with a manual transmission. I also like the magic seats that allow me to fit a small futon mattress in the back so that I can camp in remote locations or minimize lodging costs when traveling. Lastly, I like that there is a digital screen that controls all the features like radio, phone settings, and the rear camera.
Cons
I don't like that there is a negative image associated with this vehicle for males in the United States. It would have been nice if there was a 4wd option afforded to this model but it is somewhat unrealistic to expect this as a hatchback. Though shallow, I would have liked the key blade to fold into itself.

2015 Honda Fit - Fun, versatile, and pragmatic.

Overall I have owned my Honda Fit for over three years now and I love it. It is small so it can easily be parked in an urban environment, but it has so much room inside. I have even taken it on road trips and slept in the back.
Story
I threw a Futon mattress in the back of the car and drove to the ocean. I parked in a state park along the beach, watched the sunset, and slept in the back of my car. It was great. I saved a lot of money, and I got to easily wake up and watch the sunrise over the ocean.
Pros
The magic seats fold down to give a completely flat floor that is useful for transporting large and unconventional objects like skis, televisions, animals, and much more. I chose the basic trim, and despite all, this I can honestly say that the vehicle has every feature that I need and hardly feels like a basic or economy model despite its very low and marginal price. Maintenance has been very easy, and I have had no issues beyond needing the occasional oil change and tire rotation. The cars modest size and small engine also means that I get great gas mileage. I consistently get over 34 mi... (more)

They were very friendly and helpful when helping us pick out a used car. We were on a tight budget, and had not quite found what was right for us at other dealerships. They showed us a good selection of vehicles and enabled us to pick out the right car. They even worked with us on the price to get it down to our target budget!
