2008 Mazda Mazda3 - Amazing car.
First off. Let's start with the pros. The suspension is amazing for the size of the car. It handles very well given it is a FWD. The independent rear suspension is really what makes this vehicle shine. Gas mileage is amazing too! I get 30 MPG pretty consistently. Plus, since I have the manual version of the transmission, I have more control over the car's RPMs, and I can make the car really work to save gas... It is my first car, and I definitely plan to keep her till she drops! She is my baby! However, there is a decent amount of road noise with the car. I believe there is only minimal amount of sound deadening material, because on the highway, sometimes it drones. It definitely isn't that bad though. It is definitely not a reason you shouldn't look into this car, because I am sure th... (more)
Story
This car is just a joy to drive. My favorite moment was when I was driving with all of my friends -- windows rolled all the way down (Yes, all four windows, because this car doesn't have that weird stopping level of the rear windows), and the sunroof open too -- blasting some music and enjoying the ride.
Pros
Definitely gas mileage is a pro of this vehicle. I do not have to fill up nearly as much as I used to with my old Jeep. Seriously, I am very happy being a college student who needs every penny he can get.
Cons
Road noise was slightly obnoxious. It isn't that bad, but it is definitely noticeable when you step into a higher-end vehicle.
2006 Mazda Mazda3 - "Zoom Zoom" is accurate
I have had my Mazda3 for 12 years now, and it has surpassed my expectations completely. From the moment I test drove it and felt how responsive the steering and acceleration were, I was hooked. I wasn't sure about Mazda's in general and whether or not they tended to hold up well over time, but other than a few minor repairs, my car is still running smoothly and still has her original "get up and go!"
Story
The first time my husband drove my car, he hit the gas pedal a little too hard as he was used to his minivan...and we were both shocked and amused at the sudden jolt of acceleration!
Pros
My top favorite features are its acceleration - she zooms off into the horizon with just a touch of the gas pedal. The fit and finish of the interior is very polished and attractive. The seats are very comfortable, and the dash is organized well. I have the hatchback model, and since you can turn the back seats down, there is ample space to carry things. The sun roof is wonderful to have, especially when it is a beautiful day. Bonus feature is that even without the "optional sunroof guard" installed, the sun roof is quiet and the wind coming in is very gentle even at high speeds.
Cons
The back seat isn't as comfortable as some other vehicles of the same size. The gas cap is on the passenger side versus the drivers side, which took some getting used to. Some of the faux leather interior has started to peel slightly, though admittedly, I don't clean it or take care of the interior at all like I should.

2002 Mazda MX-5 Miata - Flow Honda In Winston Salem
After moving to North Carolina in 2005, my family searched for a new car. We purchased a Honda Odyssey from Flow Honda, and the employee who sold it to us was very considerate. We then went back for a Civic for my brother, and the same salesman got us a good deal for a reliable car. Then, my car was purchased after I was able to try out many cars and try my hand at haggling.
